I was there for the poh piah.... It was soo.... Good..

I always loved poh piah because its healthy with lots of fibre.... I mean how many yummy food out there are healthy and yummy at the same time....

I totally love the idea of wrapping my own poh piah.. I think its fun.. and I can really put the stuffs i want to eat into a nice packet before i stuff it into my mouth.... Poise.. Aside...

You only need to pay for the pot of shredded nicely stewed tunip or some call it bangkwang... The skin, sauce, vegetables and crispy stuff is all free flow, however, only ask for refill when you can finish them... We don't want to waste such good stuffs....

The skin is freshly made from the factory next door... Its fun to watch the SHI FU.. make the skin after which when u eat it, you could totally appreciate the freshness and I could almost taste the Q-ness of the skin......

The tunip.. or bang Kwang is nicely stewed.. Soft yet crunchy, full of flavour especially the baby shrimps totally added to the richness of this dish... Some halfed prawns... which taste like poached prawns... is of a normal size..

    So here's how it goes....
    1) Take a yummy skin.. One will do.. Sprayed some sweet sauce, chilli and my favourite minced garlic.

    2) Add a leaf or 2 Veg

    3) Put 2 spoonful of bang kwang and lace on the prawn..

    4) Absorb the beautiful sight....

    5) Wrap it up with folding the sides first and then the bottom and roll it up to the top...

    6) Lick your fingers and TUCK IN.. after which... lick your fingers again...

    Mmmmm... I'm hungry now...

Totally educational, healthy and fun experience.... Its a must go.. especially with kids... Its fun and yummy plus it does not burn a hole in your pocket...

By The Way... they serve LiangTeh in a guinness stout glass.. Which is so cute.. heehee!

How about some gasless cooling stout???
