Even though Long John Silver is smacked right at the entrance of Tiong Bahru Plaza, it is not that crowded most of the time which is why I like eating here when I need some quiet time alone. I have tried studying here before too, and it is really not a bad place to study at. The place is not that big and the tables (esp the ones at the front) are quite cramped together, but the place is quite clean and trays are cleared promptly after people leave. I frequent here and got to say that sometimes the quantity of the food is not that consistant. My friend and I ordered the same combo meal once and my serving of fries were obviously much more than hers... It would be good if they make it more consistant.... Still it is a good place to dine at since the place is not that noisy or crowded.
