The Popular Bookstore at Jurong Point is a vast field of books and CDs for people who would like to read and listen to music at the same time. There are assessment books, storybooks, cook books, magazines and many others more. Other than selling these books, the bookstore also sells electronics like headphones, thumbdrives etc. It also sells stationery for the young and old.

The old Popular bookstore was previously located at the third floor of the old Jurong Point. Before Jurong Point was extended further, Popular Bookstore has moved to the basement and it is just beside the BANQUET food court, convenient for diners who have finished their food, and walk over to the bookstore.

At the new Popular Bookstore, shelvings of books and magazines line the walls and what's more? It is somehow designed like a road path, as a small 'lamp post' is built in on the wall to facilitate the lightings, making the bookstore more than just a bookstore. When you go deeper in, you can find alot of things we use in daily life, like files etc. Also, there's also a display of beautiful but costly fountain pens. Those who love to cook, will find cook books just behind the pen display case. The books are placed quite open.

As you walk away from the cook book area, you will see all the electronic gadgets like headphones and thumbdrives being hung up either in the display case or outside it. Recommendations to IT geeks and game fanatics, you will see shelvings of game CDs and softwares in the centre. This area is just outside the CD-RAMA shop, which will play the music, which we'll hear when we enter the bookstore.
