Came across this Rojak stall while having dinner we my colleagues at the famous Holland XO fish bee hoon.
Ordered a plate of $5 Rojak, waited for around 15mins before the Rojak was served. The serving size was normal.
Started out by trying the 'you tiao' first, it was lightly toasted and crispy. There were also other ingredients like 'tau po', pineapple, cucumber, mango, etc... But I still like the 'you tiao' most.
The shrimp paste tasted differently from the rest of the other Rojak stalls i have tried so far. Its very thick and tasty. Together with the peanut bits, its really a great appetizer. Worth a try.

Ri Ye Xiang definitely one of the oldest 'Rojak' stall in Singapore. The owner of the stall Uncle Koh now in his sixties has been selling Rojak since 1965.
Without saying, with his 40 years of experience, the rojak made by him is one of the best in Singapore.

The prawn paste he used was of superior quality & enhanced with his own recipe, making it thick, tasty and aromatic. Unlike most rojak in the market, even after you finished the entire plate of rojak the prawn paste still won't turn watery ! Salute !

The peanut bits showered on the Rojak makes the dish complete. When ask, Uncle Koh mention that he will wake up every morning to crush & roast the peanut bits himself. Making it exceptionally frangrant and delicious.

I feel that the stall just lacked media attention to shine.

      Must Try !!
