Not value for money, seriously.
The standing shower is so small that I can't have a comfortable bathe. It looks beautiful and big in the pictures but in the actual, it has got a small jacuzzi (One person size) and with a small stairway up to the jacuzzi from your room. Although, it is supposed to be a private jacuzzi but I could hear very clearly what my neighbors from the other room is talking about when we are at the jacuzzi. It is separated by a thin wall from room to room.
The bed is not comfy as well. The pillow is soft that it hurts my neck after sleeping for a night.
When I booked the room, it was on promotion. It was SGD420 which I supposed it is expensive for the facilities.

went to silso beach resort, seeing that it was quite new and hoped quite a bit. booked the 8th floor room with sea view and jacuzzi @ $500 per night. room was quite okay but small. they have two showers, one open like the jacuzzi, other in the bathroom. the bathroom overhead shower is really enclosed.
had problems with the jacuzzi and there was no instructions on how to use it. struggled to make sense of it myself. the hotel pool was the highlight, a long pool plus waterfall. other facilities was almost non-existant, and breakfast selection was poor. grounds were quite run-down and unswept.
in my opinion, not worth the money considering its a 4-star hotel. the open-air jacuzzi overseeing the beach was a good idea, less the construction going on now (2009).

Rooms with Sea view, located at level 8 and each suite features a private stairway leading to an open air private roof top garden including bathtub with jacuzzi where you can rejuvenate and enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and the tropics.
Roof terrace has 2 deck chairs for sun tanning and an open air outdoor bathtub with jacuzzi. Room Size: double story in total of 60 Square meter.. After seeing the fantasic desciption of the rooms and also they having a promo at $360 anite (U.P at $560), book myself in to experience the romantic nite.
Actually was I was v disappointed with the hotel facilities, they have only 1 restuarant with v limited varities of food/drinks. The room itself is very small, with a spiral staircase leading to the roof top garden. The bathub with jacuzzi took us 4hours still not fill up half and the jet didn't work at all.
Along the stretch of the bench, alot of construction works going on, just right infront of the hotel, a big patch of work going on. Looking out and far you see beautiful seaviews, looking down, all u see is construction workers busy working even into the nite..
Still have a relaxing nite thou, coz I jump into the not haf filled tub in the nite with the stars and breeze's companion.
Not too value for money thou.. Can book into a better facilities and bigger room area room with the promo rate.
