7 Reviews for “Udders” - Food and Beverages
I couldn't find the Novena listing so here goes. Visited Udders for the first time today, opposite United Square. The interior was casual and fun, the servers were quite friendly.
Spent about $6 on 2 scoops of Tira-Miss-U & Earl Grey respectively on a piece of waffle (additional $2.50). So grand total, about $9 Not too pricey for ice-cream with flavors so authentic it's hard to find these days (unless you make it yourself).
LOVE the Tira-Miss-U for it's 'high ABV' and by that I mean you can really taste the brandy cognac combi! It's creamy and cheesy too, yumm! Like a very good slice of Tiramisu.
For the Earl Grey ice-cream, like the former, you can really taste the earl grey. If I'd eaten it on its own perhaps it would've tasted better instead of pairing with Tira-Miss-U (doesn't work that well)
The waffle was so-so.
I voted for Long Island Tea and Honey Lavender (go there and you'll see!) please bring those flavors in as I'll definitely be going back again!

Im not so much of an ice cream lover but udders ice cream did provide me with a pleasurable time having it, even though not exactly fantastic, but not too bad id say. You can tell that they are definitely not stingy with ingredients they used in their ice creams. As many others have already described pretty much in details about their flavour, i shall just skip that. However, for the pricing wise, i think that they can be substituted for other brands like haagen daz.
Indeed pretty hard to find the location for my first trip and i think its a bit of a hassle to travel all the way there just for ice creams. But it was being highly recommended by some of my friends and they insisted on dropping by udders, so i thought id just give it a try.
With a relatively small store area, the shop was quite packed when i visited it and it definitely seemed to gain the liking of many customers. However, with the large group of people i was with, its quite hard to fit us in.
The wide variety of interesting flavours offered, id recommend it for ice cream lovers who would like to try out new stuff.
However for me personally, id think the effort made to try out their ice cream made me contented with the other brands like ben & jerrys etc which are more available everywhere.

SIMPLY LOVE U.D.D.E.R.S ice-cream soooooo much ...it even recommend by Anna , who is a Fm100.3 DJ !
Well basically, udders sell what other normal ice-cream shops do not sell and that is alcoholic ice-cream !
AAAHHh...i like the RUM RUM rasin most !!!!
the BEST i think !
then now even have the tiramisu !!! OMG !
for price wise ,
Rum rum rasin cost -$3.90
while tiramisu is - $5.30
btw....buy double scoop as it is more valuable !
for the classic one , they have local flavour like kopic c , durian and cempadak ...the list can go even longer :D
well, i like the strawberry most as they use REal and FResh strawberry .
These ice-creams i have just mentioned are all under classic flavour .
which cost $3.20 each and double is $4.90
Last but not least , the GAMES !!!!
i always played taboo with my friends over there.
U.D.D.E.R.S - a good place for gathering :D
sorry for the absence of photos . will post up soon ...

Love this ice cream!
I had chocolate ice cream and my gal pal had sorbet.
One of my friend introduced me to this cafe which didn't took me long to locate the location.
The ice cream is a little pricey but comparing to Haagen Daz, the price is still acceptable.
There are even board games provided for customers to play. I have seen groups of people crowding around the table to play those board games. Despite the limited seats, their business is still very good.
Should try this if you love ice creams. They even provide alcoholic ice creams of cause at a different price.

They make you smile. They make you blissful.
They are call ice cream. They are call gelato. They are call sorbet.
They come in scoops. They come in pints. They come in sticks.
They have all sorts of flavours. They are our happy-booster.
I like nuts, just hazelnuts anyway.
I see myself trying Pistachio,
well it’s just another type of nut anyway.
Whole natural nuts. Intense, pure, nutty.
There’s two types; pears and Chinese white pears.
This one, was pear, sorbet.
No milk, no cream, a fruit puree.
Akin to eating, the real pear.
O, what creative use of the wall. What better ways to improve,
than to get customers to vote, for the new flavours.
Yakult, White chocolate with Macademia liqeuer, choya, & Ribena
are the flavours under R&D right now.
A Note: Pure Pistachio & Pear sorbet
Classic single scoop $3.20, double scoop $4.90
Premium (liqueur) single scoop $3.90, double scoop $5.90
Freezing the bowl for the ice cream to last longer, well done!

Its slightly far for me to go but when I get the chance I will drag my frenz(esp those so used to Ben n Jerrys and other commercial Ice creams) to try out the yummy unique ice cream flavours
Since day 1 i never ever ever not get the Baileys and Bourbon ice cream. It has the just nice amount of alcohol to give it that kick yet not so much till those that cannot hold the liqour get very *wheeeee*.
Tried to convert the bf to it but hez not a liqour person(yeah shockin i know). he opted for the choco marshmellow and the yamilla(my 2nd fave) we both agreed the choc was indeed better and richer than awfully chocolate's ice cream and the marshmellow made it easier on the palette. Yamilla is naturally another fav of mine and thank god the bf liked it too. I mean its marzipan!!I love marzipan and together with vanilla and almond. Yum.
Tried the Gula Melaka too and yup another winner. The coconut in it just gives it more umph since im a sucker for ice cream with little extra ingredients in it. But wasnt abig fan of the nutella ice cream though. Found it abit on the tasteless side.
Oh and the hot chocolate. OMG. i was high on chocolate cos of that ok. Mixing it myself. Piping hot with the marshmellows. I think i scared my bf with the amnt of chocolate i ate and drank.
I like how u can play games at and just slack till late since it closes late.
Oh oh forgot. Try the waffles. Yumm..
Think price wise it is worth it. David makes his ice cream himself experimenting like a true teacher and he is very generous with ingredients. So i dnt mind payin a bit more for better quality ice cream. Esp my baileys. Yumm
Did get a chance to meet David, the genius behind this fantastic ice cream joint, his lovely wife(at the taka food fair) and his business partner. David is always out to find out what his customers like/ dont like to improve his ice cream and to that i say "way to go!!!". and i like how all 3 are very involved with the store and just dont leave sum1 to run it all the time. Staff are also very friendly and nice(allowing us to try as many flavours as we want). Tho asking for more than 2 just feels weird to me. Wasting the tasting stick

Udders aka cows mammary glands are a home grown brand of ice cream. Highly possibly opened by our female compatroits, Udders is a funny and friendly brand situated along Thomson Road. I chanced upon the ice cream during a food convention at Suntec City and the following are what i have to say about it.
Lychee Martini (approx $5 for one scoop) - This ice cream actually had actual lychee bits in the ice cream. It had so many lychee bits that the taste actually overshadows the martini taste which made it rather unpleasant for me. Would have prefered a stronger martini and lighter lychee taste.
Baileys and Bourbon (Approx $5 for one scoop) - This one is a clear winner for me. I'm a huge fan of Bailey's and so anythign with it inside works for me. The taste is strong, which is excellent and the creamy taste is a godsend which works superbly as ice cream. Love this!
Overall, the baileys saved the day. The ice cream ain't cheap but at least it was authentic. Give it a try, you never know, you might like it.
