I went to Visage because I was nervous about having my hair coloured (natural redhead) and he claims to have done his training in the UK and a
Caucasian specialist!
Well he spent a few minutes with me & then handed me over to a woman that I am sure had not done her training in the UK! $350 later!!!
Who did I pay for? The owner or the person he probably pays $10 an hour to! As in a previous post he brought his daughter in who proceeded to try & act cute around me & chat. I was not there to entertain his daughter. Never again!

I went to Visage for a hair straightening treatment (not bonding) as it's not available else where in Singapore.
My apppointment was with Dominic, he inspected my hair for all of three minutes and then his assistants began work. The process was ok but not fully explained that I would not be able to wash my hair for two days afterwards. So far still ok.
Two days later I went back to complete the process and my hair cut. Dominic was to be doing this, the haircut took five minutes (if that) and then my blow dry was handed down to one of his assistants. In total three different people blow dried my hair. I have never had someone cut my hair and then hand it off to an assistant (let alone three) to finish the job.
Overall, if it weren't for this treatment I would not go back to Visage. I found Dominic arrogant and unprofessional and his staff unfriendly.

I decided on Visage over places like Striped and Honeypot for my virgin brazilian waxing session because they have been around much longer than the others.
It seems like a strange reason, but I'm the type who believes in well-established brands (:
They leave you alone to get washed up first and even though the towels are in serious need of fabric softeners, I can't complain about the level of hygiene. Most important factor when it comes to waxing!
I have to say I'm pretty satisfied by the service there. Firstly, the staff are friendly. My waxer, (is that how you address them?) Evonne, is really professional and puts me at ease before getting down to business, so it's less awkward.
She explains exactly what she's going to do and warns you about the pain factor. Also, she applies just enough pressure on the skin right after the ripping to lessen the pain. This is done in quite a short time too.
But trust me when I say waxing is painful. I thought my navel piercing was bad, but this is at least 1000 times worse! Well worth it, though. The smoothness is great!
It's a bit pricey but I like it that it's in a less popular part of Orchard so there's a BIT more privacy... I think.
Would definitely go back again!

I visited the hair salon for a routine rebonding touch-up. Dominic (the head stylist) was very attentive during the consult, making me feel confident that the salon would do a good job.
However, at the actual rebonding section, Dominic was out of the salon for most of the 4 hours - first attending to his daughter, which he brought with him to work and then leaving to go home an hour before the rebonding had finished. After the final wash, I realised that his assistants had burned my hair. However, Dominic, was, of course, already at home, so I was forced to go home with extremely frizzy hair.
The next day when I went back with the extremely frizzy hair (the complete opposite of what one would expect from rebonding), Dominic tried to make excuses for himself, saying that my hair was already week to begin with. However, note that he had done a consult before the rebonding to make sure I was ready for a touch-up. This makes me seriously question his experience.
The thing that struck me the most is that after all that, Dominic never apologized and refused to refund. I could not believe that I had to pay 300 for burned frizzy hair and unprofessional service!

I personally love Visage though their package is on the pricey end. In every waxing room, there's a bath cubicle for you to wash up before each waxing session. Also, I feel the place is very hygienic. Privacy is guaranteed too because the waxing rooms are not divided by curtains, but actual false walls. You can't really hear the person next door unless they're talking really loudly.
The staff there are very friendly. Also, a day before your appointment, they'll actually call you up to remind you about it.
I'll never go to another place for waxing even though other places offer really good deals.
I'm one who ranks hygiene & privacy first before pricing.
I always recommend my friends to Visage if they were to ask me for a good waxing parlor. :)

Centrally located along Orchard Road at Delfi Orchard, it is a convenient place to be pampered by therapists dedicated to providing you with personalised & professional spa & beauty treatments. I personally feel that they provide one of the best brazilian wax in town!!
What is brazilian wax? It is a type of waxing that involves the bikini area. One can choose to remove the hair from the entire pubic region, or upon request leaves a small patch just above the vaginal area. Many women have Brazilian waxing done because of hygiene purposes and the freedom to wear even the most revealing swimwear and lingerie. Have U ever seen people with public hair sticking out of their swim suits? I did. Yucks!! Gross. Of course there are women who do brazilian wax cos they believe that it'd enhance one's s*x life. Hmmm...in that case, the more the brides-to-be should try!!
One's first experience can be terribly painful and a bit embarrassing, but the smooth results at Visage make it completely worth it. In fact, it can get addictive!! The reason why I started brazilian waxing was because I made the mistake of shaving. Yea, I had to look good in moi swimming costume. Horror of horrors, the stubble which grew out after that was so unbearably coarse and thick, it practically pricked thru moi undies!! OMG. It was a nightmare. Yea, and terribly uncomfy too. Fortunately after a few sessions at Visage, the problem was solved.
If U are ever thinking of doing a brazilian wax, I'd highly recommend Visage Salon at Orchard Delfi. Their staff are very experienced and deft with their hands. Now, that's very important. I'm sure U wouldn't want unncecessary pain, rite?
