I ate at Aston the first time. its your regular western food. But the second time i visited that place, it was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!!! There was 1 person in the queue in front of me and my date. We stood there to wait and this auntie from the Aston Express kept telling us to back off, macham scolding us. Telling us not to stand so close and in case block the way. Come on, there was no one talking up and down. She just kept yelling at us! I was so pissed off and ignored her but she just kept on telling us off. When it came to our turn to order, I simply stare at that woman and left the menu on the table and walked off. I swear never to return to such a lousy place with crappy serivce. Imagine being scolded before you could even order? Super ****. Never NEVER visit such a lousy place. Plain SUCKS. I would go to Botak Jones anytime whiich is provide 5 mins walk away ! The people are friendlier and food is MUCH MUCH better.

Finally tried Aston's Express @ bedok. It is situated in the coffeeshop diagonally across from the NTUC Supermarket.
I went there in a group of 5 on a weekday afternoon around late lunch time. The coffeeshop was still rather packed. There were groups of office workers, mostly Aston's customers. We quickly ordered the food while waiting for a table.
When a table was free, the friendly Aston's staff promptly came by to clear the plates and stuff. Not long after, our food came. The stall manager, Billion, was very friendly and told us of their plans to provide delivery to the nearby offices, in the near future.
We ordered a chargrill chicken ($5.50), 3 steaks ($10.50 each) and 1 pork chop ($8.50). There was also a variety of sides. The chargrill chicken was nice. Could taste the grilled taste despite the mushroomy sauce on top. The steak (Medium) & pork chop were also pleasant.
The sides were great. The coleslaw (although not cold) came in generous servings, so did the fries. The fries were the skinny type, sprinkled with some orangy powder, like Cajun fries. Those who had the greens were happy with their sides too.
On the whole, service was great. Food was also great.
