4 Reviews for “TCC (Bugis Junction)” - Food and Beverages
The main boutique (not the open concept one) is a great place for after-dinner drinks and dessert. We love to pop by after shopping at Bugis Junction or Iluma for some peace and quiet, and to rest our weary legs.
It's not often noisy or boisterous and has nice booth seats for larger groups. We prefer to lounge on the wide and comfy armchairs and just vegetate.
Wifi is available at certain spots in the cafe and the friendly staff are always at hand with helpful connection hints. We've made friends with some of them and they seem to be very personable and actually remember their regulars.
For non-coffee drinkers like myself, you just have to try the hot Lemon Ginger Green Tea ($7.80 ) together with a slice of the delicious Cocoa Orange Cointreau cake ($6.00 ). Wait for the rush, then lean back in your chair and sigh. This is the life!

There are 2 TCCs in Bugis. One of which is the open concept one, which is right smack in the middle of what it used to be a common walkway. Cosy and good for big group gatherings. You can watch shoppers walk by and simply laze the afternoon away reading a book. Or perhaps hope by to rest your legs while waiting for your other half to finish shopping. They provide magazines for your to read and warm lightings.
But the gem is really the other TCC at bugis, nearby to the open concept one, which is diagonally opposite the National Library. As you enter the vacinity, you are first greeted by the thick exotic aroma of the brewing coffee. Really heavenly... The design of the place is just sooo chic.... The gothic designs and contemporary comfy couches are just a wonderful hide out. What more, for those workholics who just can't live without their laptops, there are ample power points everywhere for you to charge your LAPPY....
I love the comfy couches best... ample space for all S, M, L, Even XXL sizes like me yet it has a high fully covered arm rest. I feel very secure when i sit on these couches as i need not worry about my buldging stomach. Besides that it puts me in a very relaxing position.
It is a good spot for meeting your clients or even to catch up with a business friend as they also have special round tables at corners, something like little balconies for privacy. With ample sockets everywhere, it is easy for you to do a good presentation or show your friends some photos. Wireless SG is available as well, you can show your friends your collections of videos on YOUTUBE.....
The food menu is great. They offer baked items, sandwiches and other fusion dishes. Fabulous place to hang out......

This outlet is within Bugis Junction thus enjoying airconditioned even it's open concept.
I like the spacious seats and not so crowded atmosphere here. You can linger around for hours chatting and reading to pass your lazy afternoon.
Their drinks not too fantastic thou, a cuppa at that price is abit steep. 3 hours there, chatting with my gfs, I took at least 2 to 3drinks which total up to $20 per person.
Will still visit for the lazy afternoon but will limit my drinks intake :)

Could be just my luck (and my friend's), cos we both felt the coffee we had here tasted a tad different, in a bad way, as compared to the same ones we had tried at other outlets.
The inconsistent taste aside, this outlet has a rather atas feel as compared to its counterparts like the nearby NAFA branch. Quite a good place to catch-up with friends over a cuppa, or even when you wish for some personal time with a good read in hand. They have quite a number of magazines around for browsing as well, if you need some activity to kill time while waiting for your ever late-coming friends.
