this outlet is the first time I went for any Pepper Lunch. We went there for dinner and first impression wasn't all that great.

Customers especially those as new as us would be confused of the sitting arrangement and ordering system. Perhaps instead of having staffs standing around to answer queries, they could have a notice board or something with instructions. The customers would not have the perpetual "blur" look when they first enter the restaurants.

Food. Not that great. At least it does not give the wow factor but merely some new experiences to a different way of eating. Cooking the food though is interesting, seeing the raw meat on the plate doesn't increase my appetite. Not a balanced meal as they served bean sprouts and very little of other vegetables. Cooking the food also cause a smell to be emitted while we struggle to stir the veges.

On the whole, I wouldn't visit Pepper Lunch often. Perhaps I will visit when I feel like cooking but lazy to buy ingredients

The newest blog advertising site. Works to link bloggers and advertisers set up by Paddy Tan who is also the founder of Bak2U, an anti-theft software. Fixed fee of $3 per advertisement.

    Pro>
Fast and friendly customer service. Usually reply to emails within the day. Stress that bloggers would not be penalised if they reject the ads.

Allows blogger to choose to accept the advertisements as some layout may not allow the advertisements to be put up. If possible and advertisers allow, there will be different sizes of advertisements available for choosing.

Recently goes into per post advertisements which should be more popular among bloggers.

    Con>
$3 for a month of banner advertisement is rather little. This means that there is limited advertisements matching as there is only this much space for putting banners.

    Pros:

Known for the nice bread that is free flow. Crispy crust and very very soft inner portion. Real nice.

    Cons:
Poor customer service. Slow in serving. Even a basket of fries takes 30 mins. My friend made her order and its only after 10 mins that someone came over to tell her its not available. Since the waiting time for that period is 30mins, she have to wait extra long just to eat something. No response from the waiters there and when finally we got a person's attention, she gave us a blank look when we ask for plain water. She proceeded to clear the table and we proceeded to get our own plain water refills!

went for the 2nd time today as we decided to give this place another chance. Well, we won't be going for the 3rd time as this place totally disappointed us.

We ordered Peppered Fish Linguine, Grilled chick, Sirloin Steak completed with set meals and the chicken Salad.

Peppered Fish: Well, I didn't taste any pepper in the fish and fish consisted of thick flour coated dory. As can be seen from the pics, oil seems to stand for most of the ingredients.

Sirloin Steak and grilled chicken: Meat were tender but lacking in the natural taste. Sauce served with the meat didn't seem to go well with them. Carrots that were served with the meat tasted like they were cooked in sugared water.

Salad: Chicken is well done, marinated and tender. In comparison, the vegetables were not fresh enough to taste good.

    Pros:

A private hair salon at Bugis Village. Personalised service as there is at most 2 customers at a time. Yuki goes by word of mouth and appointment only. She not only does your hair well, she also gives reviews of hair products when you ask her for opinion. She based her work more on your likes and dislikes and from there, helps you with what look best on you. Does free lance make up and hairdo. Great quality too~ She did hair and make up for my wedding dinner and I've received only compliments for it. Gives privildge cards to regular customers

    Cons:

Place difficult to find. Only cash payments

    Pros:

Excellent site with handpicked, handcarried bags, cufflinks, mirrors and other accessories.

Although a tad to the expensive side, the items are unique and not seen on other blog stores.

Excellent customer service as the owner/co owner would answer questions promptly, bring you your item (purchased) as well as 3 other items that you are interested in for your review. No obligations at all.

Discounts when you help them advertise.

    Cons:

Lack of descriptions on the website and detailed pictures. Too many graphics that makes the site looks cluttered.

Excellent store~ excellent ice cream~ Yum~! Yes we at the west is so lucky cos there's a store right at jurong point~! I simply loved the chocolate flavour, Mango and soursop flavour~

Yes~ soursop! with fruit bits inside.

Too bad this flavour is not available 24/7. Its seasonal since they are using real fruits as part of their ingredients.

There is also watermelon flavour, green tea and mango~!

I loved to buy their package of 2 flavours where I will choose either chocolate and soursop or chocolate and mango. The combination is simply heaven. It taste even better when you mix the 2 flavours.

Nice environment, need to go early else there will be a long queue at the door. Comfortable seats though abit cramped.

    Good customer service.

Nice food although the quality of the food is changing periodically, I guess a change in chef ba.
Loved the "shui jiao mian" (dumpling noodles) although the noodles doesn't taste much but the dumplings are nice.

Especially introduce the french toast with peanut butter and margarine. Definitely my favourite in that cafe~

    Excellent service. Excellent food.

Had the black pepper chicken set lunch. Portion big and tasty however its sweet and lack of black pepper flavour. For people who prefer stronger taste would not like the dish. However, the set is value for money. It consist of Chawanmushi, tofu, miso, rice with corn/pumpkin croquettes and hot plate black pepper chicken @ $16.90

Very nice dessert esp fruit sorbet.

had the pastries instead of the main dishes ... rather cramp inside the restaurant though

However the pastries are great. We ordered the famous Tiramisu, Cassata Siciliana and this Dark Chocolate pastry which I've forgotten the name

Great blend of ingredients and wine. Usually eating too much pastry and sweet stuffs will cause people to gag. However, eating more of the pastries at Ricciotti will not have that effect.

A great place for small/short gatherings or dating to impress as the place has got rather expensive selections.

There is a current promotion of 50% discount after 9pm on all pastries.
