    Pros:

Food was excellent, we ordered the mushroom pot steamboat buffet. The small dishes that came with it were simply delicious. Worth mentioning were the monkey-head mushroom in special sauce and Golden Mantou in the picture. Crunchy monkey-head mushroom tasted a bit like You Tiao and the Mantou taste heavenly when you eat it together with the condense milk provided. We had the "Yuan-yang" pot where there were 2 types of soup based. I did not try the "Ma-La" soup as I don't take spicy but the other mushroom soup base was great. Meat fresh and sliced thinly though my friend said the prawns were not very fresh.
    Cons:

Only tea is free flow. Had a difficult time trying to explain what is the meaning of "free flow" to the waitresses. Price is still affordable and worth it but that day the waitress did not explain clearly to us that it's CNY rate and we ended up paying more than normal. Emphasis was on mushroom and meat and less on other vegetables.

    Pro:

Food portion was large, menu described the dishes, and other instructions (e.g rare, medium rare) well. Ordered Chef's salad, Mixed grill and garlic steak. Chef's salad was the best dish that day with extremely fresh vegetables and sliced chicken. Garlic steak was also not bad though the fried garlic was too overwhelming and covered the taste of beef. Service was fast and swift without any encounter of rude service crew. Overall a nice place for a date or dinner night out.

    Con:

Peach cooler wasn't exactly a nice drink. We were sort of forced into ordering it by the (auntie) manager. Its quite expensive at about $4 per glass.

    Pros:

Very nice atmosphere, spacious and comfy chair. Live performances of piano and pop songs. A great place to hang out with a small group of close friends, your lover for a romantic wedding anniversary or just to sit and relax, enjoy your drink and the scenery outside of the Esplanade. Had Singapore Sling, Lychee Martini and one I forgot the name but its strawberry. While the prices are above average, the drinks are also above average so its still a value. Service is good though a bit slow. On the whole, I can't think of anything bad about the place except it burnt my wallet.

    Pros:

Lovely atmosphere with a mix of jazz and zen style. Extensive menu that left us with a hard choice of what to order.
We ordered chicken and mushroom Linguine, King Prawn quarter chicken and pork rib, Steak, Lamb chop, Caesar salad, garlic bread, Mussels and mushroom soup. Dessert was Rich Choc truffle. The

Linguine was great with the tomato and herb sauce just right and chicken sweet.

King prawn dish on the other hand, tasted too dry, chicken was overcooked hence tough. and the portion was just too much.

Steak tasted alright though I think the sauce some what covered the taste of the beef and make the taste below the line.

Lamp chop was fine without the strong smell of lamp meat and the blend of the mint sauce was well done.

Caesar salad was what we found to be the best dish of the night with crisp fresh vege and sweet chicken in delicious mayo. Portion was very big for a starter.

Rich Choc Truffle was indeed very rich. It needs to be taken together with the cranberry/mango sauce provided to be great tasting.

A great place to chill out though the price is a bit above average but the taste of the food is valued for money. Serves liqueur as well as some house pours though we did not order any as we are going off elsewhere to drink.

    Cons:

Had a hard time trying to get the waiter (should be a Pakistani?) who served us to understand what we are talking about. Does not serve cold water unless you order their drinks.

This is the 2nd time I went to a Kbox KTV and my impression was not so good. Customer service was bad as almost all of the crews gave us black face and rather rude when talking to us.

Though the free flow of nuts and the ktv system is a lure, I wo't bother going there if the customer service is not good. Crews keep peeping in and came in to tell you your time is up even before you started singing the last song. The person even stood outside and wait for us to sing finish the last song so that he can see that we are leaving. Definitely not a good value for money considering the price is more expensive than other KTVs like Party World.

    Pro:
Totally awesome clothes available on sale. Lingerie, dresses and tops that makes you feel sexy. Fast customer service, accommodating as long as you explain yourself and clear guidelines and instructions given in emails and web. Received the item like 2 days after payment which is fast enough. Clear size measurements and items are nearly exact of measurements. That's great since it makes shopping online more fun and clothes fit.

    Con:
Clothes without promotion is quite expensive. Can go up to $70 for a slip dress which although is very nice but a burn in the pocket. On the whole, its a great buy when they are having sale.

    Pros:
Wonderfully decorated that gives you the feeling of "want to" chill out there. Minimum smell of cigarette smoke. Cute menu design and large variety of drinks and food for choosing. Though screens are not large but are strategically located for football lovers' viewing. (not to mention the surround sound speakers) Drinks are nicely done at least for those we ordered. We ordered Salty Dog, Topsy Turvy, Mango Tango and Lychee Martini. I especially love the Lychee Martini and will definitely order that when I go there next time. Finger foods, we only ordered fries and they tasted great. Asked for their name card and the name card came with a 15% discount coupon.

    Cons:
Slightly cramped and high chairs are not comfortable. Communication with crew there is not easy as the level of spoken English there is not high. Slightly on the ex side depending on what you order. (Lamborghini cost $20 )

Went there for a birthday celebration for a friend.

    Pros:
Nicely decorated for the Zen feeling though I see some parts of the wall is already peeling. Service from staff is quick, serving of food is big and therefore filling if you are looking for a good meal there. Ordered Curry chicken Katsu don which taste well though abit too sweet. Dessert is great and I especially like the chocolate waffle. It should be a nice place for a small family or friends outing.

    Cons:
Nothing special about the menu especially the main dish. Cold green tea does not taste nice and its not the "occasion" kind of thing as every time I go there, the cold green tea tasted like "cold tuna green tea". Not good for dates.

Personally bought some clothes from them.

    Pros:

Clothes are in-stock and in good quality. Reaction fast, emails came like within 1 day of queries or ordering. Very accommodating as they allow bank transfer by various banks and even when I used UOB bank to transfer to their DBS and took 3 days, they are fine with it. (Do inform them first) Clothes are unique and shown big on the blogshop together with the descriptions. Pleasing blog design makes browsing through loads of photos easy on the eye. There is also a discount area where they sell over stocks at big discounts.

    Cons:

Too many photos makes loading slow. Lack of categorization of clothes hence got to look through all the items to find what you wanted. A tad expensive though their items are mostly unique. Clothes are sold out at fast speed so I have to go and browse through fast whenever I receive their update notification.

A friend of mine recommended this brand of ice cream to me. He said he simply love the Ferrero flavor. Being curious, I decided to give it a try.

Disappointed! I ordered Rum and Raisin and Dark Choc with M&Ms. Well, I'm not sure whether it was the blend but it does not taste appetizing at all. The taste was well... under the line... not up to it.... or the Chinese explanation : 不到味

Cold Rock wins, by having unique ice cream toppings, flavor and giving customers the thrill of watching their ice cream being blended (ouch) however, blending makes the ice cream flavors mixed up and sometimes cancel out each other. Further, blended ice cream does not look good at all. (As per my photo)

For ice cream of that pricing, I will rather go to Hagaan Daz right opposite or Scoopz which up till now is my favorite.
