21. ABC BARGAIN CENTRE PTE LTD (Sun Plaza)

The cheapest store in Singapore is the store's slogan. I have been living in Sembawang for almost three years now and I only "discovered" this store for just a year. I've been only shopping to Fair Price in Sun Plaza for groceries, kitchen items, party needs, etc. but I was quite delighted to find another store to buy affordable stuff.

Most of the products I have seen and bought are from Malaysia, Thailand, China, Indonesia, India, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Some of the items I like are: Tissue in a box ($1)...I always have one in my office. 1 pack (4 pcs.) Disney sharpener with eraser ($1). Metal pen holder ($1) which by the way can be bought from Daiso for $2. I also like the Chef Line items, their Freezer and Storage Bags. Party needs, paper cups & plates, spoons & forks. Plastic water bottle, food containers... are all insanely cheap! Most of the items are cheaper than Fair Price and Daiso.

I just don't like the fact that the store is quite small...certainly not a place for the claustrophobics.

If you're exhausted from choosing cute, little things from this store, you can buy a cold drink - ice tea, soda, etc., to quench that thirst. The cold drinks are available from 70 cents to 90 cents.
