It was on the New Year promotion when I bought it.
Promotion was to buy 3 flavoured ones to get two original or almond flavoured ones for free;D
My purchases include the pandan, almond and original flavours.

The pandan one was nice;D it was not too sweet and the pandan taste was fragrant.

The original one had a slightly lighter taste of soya bean.
While the almond flavoured one was nice and not too strong in the almond flavour ;D

Out of all the three flavours, I liked the almond one the most.

Their bean curd is smooth and soft.
The original beancurd would taste better if the soya taste was stronger. The almond one tasted just right ;D

The pandan one was great too, but too much of it we may get sick of it :x

After all, AmaSoy is a pretty good choice for pudding bean curd cravings ^^

    Prices:
    Pandan-$2.50
    Almond-$1.80
    Original-$1.80
It would be good if it was cheaper.(:
    Do give it a try!;D

Just Acia kimchi bean curd soup set
Back to Just Acia for dinner after a few months!;D
I was missing their kimchi soup that I used to order whenever I dine at Just Acia.

This time round, I ordered the kimchi soup set with rice.

At Just Acia it's free flow drinks and ice cream.(:
The food came really fast, less than 5 mins after placing our orders.
When it was served, the soup dishes wasn't really hot, it's just warm.
My mum would prefer it to be hot, but the temperature was just right for me;D

The moment I saw the kimchi soup, I felt something was different.

The ingredients in it seemed to have been reduced, such as the kimchi.

The soup was also lighter in taste, probably due to the reduced kimchi amount I guess?

I like how the kimchi soup tastes rich and thick and fragrant, so I was somewhat disappointed with the kimchi soup I had that day.

Setting the change in the soup richness aside, I still quite like the kimchi soup.

I would always get so full after finishing the whole bowl of soup with the rice/udon.

We also added chawan mushi, which costs $1 each with every set meal purchased.
      It's smooth and nice.(:

The kimchi bean curd soup set with rice costs $8.90. It's really worth it;D

Hope the changes are just for that day, looking forward to my next visit ;D

        Starbucks green tea latte
It was on one for one again!;D The offer was only applicable to venti-sized beverages.
Ordered the hot green tea latte and earl grey tea. I took the hot green tea latte.
Hadn't tried it before and it was recommended by my friend.
First taste of it...it tastes wonderful and super nice! :D The green tea tastes like the Japanese matcha.
I like the fragrant green tea taste with the fresh milk latte ;D And it was served hot and nice.

The venti size was really a big cup and it took me a few hours to finish it, partly also because it has milk content and would make me feel really full after consuming it.

The more I taste it, it taste more like baby powder :x
Do have to admit that I got quite sick of it after finishing about half of it.
Did not really finish the whole cup, but I was already super full from it. I even skipped my dinner.

And I love their hot cup!;D It was still the Christmas season cup and it looks cute and nice^^
Overall it's worth it when it's on one-for-one offer. Otherwise, it’s not worth it if you are not Starbucks lover.(:

          Danro Japanese Hot Pot
This new Japanese hot pot by MOF newly opened not long ago!;D
So tempting! :D Had wanted to try it ever since I smell the fragrance of the soup when I pass by!

We had the student price and considering its Japanese hot pot buffet…yes buffet!;D
The price was $20.90 for a weekend dinner. Comparing to other Japanese restaurant serving buffet, or even normal Japanese cuisine restaurants, such a pricing should be considered reasonable and good?(:

It starts at 5.30-10.30pm, but we actually got in earlier as we were looking at the soup base menu and they invited us in.

They explained that we could help ourselves to the ready fried food before we start on our hot pot.

          Soup Base
They had 8/9 choices of soup base to choose from, and we could choose 2.
Got some recommendations and decided on Tonkotsu Miso Broth, which has a heavier taste and Wafu Broth, which has a lighter taste.

I actually got attracted by the collagen ingredient of the Tonkotsu Broth ;P
And I really like the Tonkotsu Miso Broth! It has a rich taste of having brewed the meat bones for some time, giving the soup a sweet and fragrant taste, with the touch of miso, it’s like heavenly to me ;D

The Wafu Broth was indeed lighter in taste, more of a clear soup which is refreshing! I pretty much like that too ^^
What I didn’t like about the soup base was that it’s a little too salty in the first place before adding the ingredients. I could have drank more if it was not that salty :x
But the thick and tasty soup are really nourishing and an enjoyment :D

          Choices available!
It’s free flow of drinks, pork, chicken, beef, and other seafood such as prawns, crabs, cockles etc.
There’s of cause also the side ingredients like cabbage, tofu, egg etc!

Love how the meat is soft and tender; it’s chicken thigh! ;D it’s really nice in the soup.
They are marinated with pepper/chilli and it still goes well in any of the soup bases.
The meat can simply be separated without the need for much tearing/chewing. There are marinated pork ribs too ;D

          Signature home-made Kiritanpo
Not forgetting their signature rice served right after setting up the hot pot! It’s served on stick, one for each pax and they would let us know how we should eat it; dip into any of the soup, leave it for a while to absorb the taste of the soup before fetching it up to eat off the stick.
Its glutinous rice made with shrimps I think? That’s what I taste :x
It is something new and pretty interesting…quite like it just that there’s quite a strong seafood taste (if you know what I mean :x)

          desserts
          Last up was the desserts.
Earlier on we saw some jellies/pudding, mixed cocktails and fruits. There aren’t many desserts for selection though.
When we went for our desserts, there weren’t any jellies left, and the fruit and mixed cocktails isn’t very tempting so we gave those up. Maybe they could improve by topping up some desserts?

Walked around and we’re really glad to find an ice cream machine!;D
It’s vanilla flavoured ice cream, self-service, which was quite interesting and fun for us :D
Added some toppings too; chocolate sauce and chocolate chips.
We love the ice cream!;D I think it’s a type of Japanese ice cream? And it has that special taste of sweetness but not overly sweet.
Unlike vanilla ice cream we got elsewhere, I simply like how it taste ;D probably some may thought there isn’t much of a difference, but I just felt it taste special, some kind of Hokkaido ice cream taste ;P

The cold drinks section is simply those dispenser drinks, choices like ice lemon tea, coke, sprite, Fanta etc.

Really love dining there hence the wordy review >.<! Although there isn’t really a wide variety of food/ingredients to choose from, it’s quite suitable for people who would like to try Japanese hot pot and love the richness in soups ;D and of cause for meat lovers with the free flow of meat!
I would also strongly recommend the ice cream as the finale dish ;P
          Satisfactory service too :D

Had never tried skinny pizza before, it was a recommendation from my friend though.(:

The price isn’t what I normally would allow myself to spend on for pizzas, costing at least $20 for each pizza :x

We ordered a Cod Fish pizza and two English breakfast pizzas.
            We also ordered some sides:
            - 1/4 Metre Long Sausage
            - Truffle Fries
            - Seared Brie Cheese
            - Grilled Prawns with Cauliflower Couscous

The dishes took quite some time to serve.
First up was the cod fish pizza.

At first we were thinking where the cod fish were as there weren’t any traces of fish on the pizza.

After tasting it, we realised the fish was grated to mix with the sauce spread throughout the pizza surface. xD

There is quite a heavy taste of herbs. Most of my guy friends felt that the taste was quite weird due to the herbs mixed into the sauce.

While me and girlfriends thought that it’s quite tasty ;D

It’s a taste that I have not tasted before and it’s quite unique. It’s mainly fish and herbs, a healthier choice.(:

The English breakfast pizza has bacon, egg and mushrooms. The amount of bacon isn’t a lot.

Comparing both flavours of pizzas, I would prefer the cod fish pizza.

For both pizzas, I like it that the pizza skin and crust are really thin and crispy.

It’s like biscuit instead of what we normally get at pizza outlets like pizza hut etc.

There isn’t much special for the sauage. The truffle fries do have the taste of truffles.

As for the prawns, its fresh and sweet :D

I didn’t try the cheese but my friends commented that it’s nice.

The dishes are shared among 7 of us and each of us paid around $14.

Personally I felt the portion isn’t worth the money since I’m not much of a lover of Italian food.

But looking at how enjoyed some friends are, I guess it’s worth giving it a try if you are in for Italian cuisine?(:
