I had a disappointing experience with Bengawan Solo at Compass point. On wed 21 Dec 2011, my mom placed orders for 4 walnut cakes for my nephew's first month celebration. We are supposed to collect the cakes on 25 Dec 2011 10am. Then, I went to the shop at 10.20am on 25 Dec, but the staff Sally Li told me the entire shop ran out of walnut cakes and they have to take MRT to next outlet to get my cakes, so tell me either wait another 20 mins or switch to marble cake ( which is cheaper, and I don't want). So I waited another 20 mins, then only until 10.45am then they have the cakes for me. Why? The time to deliver on the invoice is 10am, they should have prepare the cakes for me earlier , not wait until I arrive then send a staff to another branch. And Sally wasn't apologetic at all, keep telling me don't take walnut cake, change cake. why must I change cake?Why can't they prepare something when we already given them few days's notice

The experience is bad. I told the sales representative what I want, and she ignored my request to have the sugar syrup put aside. Instead she didn't give me the sugar syrup at all. She looked unhappy and reluctant to serve me, therefore another sale representative who seems to notice that took over her. I'm fine with the other sale representative, though I sense no willingness or eagerness to serve me. Even though, I thanks the cashier who serve me, no response was given, in fact she just walk away. I was informed later on, my Dad too had the same unhappy experience in Bengawan Solo, Compass Point.
