Derma-RX got introduced to me after my trauma in Whoo and O Hui experience saying that I have 30 year old skin. Just trying to get some assurance, I actually went to see a skin doctor to check if I really have THAT BAD skin.

But anyway, the doctor introduced me this brand saying that it can only be purchased through selected clinics and are not available off shelves. I did hear good comments about this brand before so I decided its better to believe a doctor instead of a sales girl.

The stuff I bought (acccumulative) are: 1. Milk Cleanser (forgot the price) 2. Foaming Cleanser ($38) 3. Comedone Formula (abt $120) 4. Rejuvenator ($170) 5. Liposomal Sunscreen (abt $60)

Milk Cleanser: Gentle on the skin, but unable to remove stronger makeup like waterproof mascara. I think i can find better alternatives.

Foaming Cleanser: Get my skin thoroughly cleansed, without tight feeling. Not too foamy with slight fragrance. I quite like it even though its pretty expensive for a 150ml bottle. It just makes my skin looks very clear and giving a slight glow after every wash.

Comedone Formula: It does removes my blackheads but stupid me used it everyday and got my nose peeling alot! I only use it on alternate days now and in minimal amount. Its supposed to dry up the pimples and black/whiteheads. since it got my skin peeling, i think the drying up part is actually working? but one thing for sure is that after switching to alternate days, my nose stopped peeling and i cant seem to squeeze any blackheads out anymore. however, pores remains visible :(

Rejuvenator: Does moisturize my skin well initially but the layer of moisturizer gets absorbed very quickly and I'll need to apply another layer again when in aircon room. Not too sure if thats a good point but id expect better results from a $170 moisturizer, will not buy again.

Liposomal Sunscreen: Highly recommended as its waterproof, (i use it when i go diving and i do not get sun burnt at the end of the day) and can last up to 8 hours guaranteed. I do not know how true is the 8 hours part but given the fact that i do not need to re-apply after every 4 hours (like normal sunblock) and yet not get sun burnt under the scorching hot sun, im actually very happy with the product. furthermore, its not very thick and not too white and gets blended easily into the skin when you apply just the sunscreen itself.

In all, Id think that Derma-RX products are quite good but its definitely abit costly. Id recommend it to people with skin problems to solve (acne, pigmentations etc), instead of people who already have clear skin but wanna further improve on it.

The sunscreen, however, is my favourite as the price is comparable to brands like estee lauder and yet results are definitely better than most other brands. :)
