If you are around Shenton way and want a quick lunch, I recommend this Mee Siam stall at International Plaza unit 01-74 which is on ground level. The stall is small but the mee siam is great. So far this is the only mee siam stall that I like. It is home cooked and is prepared daily and is fresh. The bee hoon is cooked just right and also the gravy. The taste of the gravy is just right. Neither too sour nor too sweet. The colour look fresh and appetising. It comes with one hard boil egg and fried sliced small fried tow pok (dried beancurd). It is opened Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4.30 pm and on Saturday from 7 am to 2.30 pm and closes on public holidays. The stall is run by a couple and a helper. Not only does the stall provides nice mee siam, it comes with good service. The couple is very friendly and has been managing the stall for 23 years. Your can also try the mee rebus and penang laksa. Do give a try if you love mee siam.
