I tried the spagetti and brownie. I think the food just average. I thought the brownie suppose to have like lots of fudge inside, you know the kind when you cut and the chocolate just flows out, but it didn't happened. But I love the ambience, I sat at the second deck so was sitting on the cushion, my leg got a bit cramp after awhile. But they provide cushions, i don't think it is meant to be hugged but I hug it anyway.

I will go back there for the tea again. My boyfriend and I just kept re-filling and re-filling and I kept going toilet. There are so many other types of tea to try!!

The waitress there are very attentive. Although that time there was only two waitress at the second deck.

You also can have functions such as ROM, birthday parties and gatherings in Essential brew which I intend to try, from the website seems like the staff will settle the decorations for you, it looks like a lovely and romantic place for ROM where you can celebrate with just your family and friends in a cosy place..

I celebrated my friend's birthday there recently. I like the cool platform sitting area on level 2. It is a very cozy place, where all of us can have a good chat..Good ambience for such event.

We ordered jasmine Cod Fillet, honey mustard chicken, steaks & etc. The food was great. It was fresh & value for money. Portion was nice. My favourite was the desert, the plateau serenade ice-cream thingi.. & i love my drink lingerin angel...

Is a good place to come back for the food as it is value for money and food is great.
      Love it!

a good friend of mine brought me there for dinner some time ago. it was a weekend and it was very packed as the night grew older but the staff were still very friendly and patient with us. PLUS. they are so attentive and always had a smile on their faces, it was a very pleasant evening. not to mention that the ambience was great too.

the food we ordered were almost mediocre, save for the desserts. the apple crumble was good as they served it piping hot. it wasnt too sweet when eaten with the ice cream, which was a pleasant surprise. and the jasmine tea was drinkable, even for someone who doesnt have a liking for tea (like me).

the only regretable thing was that we didnt try their main course.

A good fren of mine organized a surprise birthday party at Essential Brew for his girlfren (my gd fren too:). And we were of cos invited to be partners in crime.

He booked a room especially for this party that can fit about 20 pax therabout. In order to book the room, you need jus the no. of pax stipulated. The package is in the form of set meal that comes with appetiser, main course, free flow of drinks and desserts. It's really value for money. :)

When we arrived at the place, the room was decorated with balloons and party packs. What's a partyyyy without all these rite. Guests sits on the floor with cushions and all and food is served on a low table. Cool.

Back to the food and drinks - all of them are tea-infused. It's called Essential brew, mind you. The food is nice and desserts are yummy.

I had the Honey Mustard chicken and brownie and ice-cream.
Overall, I enjoyed the food and service. Thumbs up.

I went to this place even before I joined the ping.sg event here. Unlike when I was in ping.sg event, I was dining in the lower floor. Couldn't remember anymore what I ordered, but I remember the tea was so nice! Well, it's a tea restaurant anyway.. My boyfriend (that time was a new boyfriend =P) ordered the rosebud tea. My other friends ordered many exotic tea. Haha. One of them ordered the wild berries tea. After that she added honey into that and she was really really amazed by the honey. After that, every sip she took, she would add the honey! It's that good.. Haha..

Can't remember what I had for ping.sg event either. I think it was cajun dory. Even though I don't remember the name I do remember that it was very very nice! And what I like the most... Is the dessert! The dessert that came to my place was apple crumble with some vanilla ice cream. Oh goodness it was so good! I think i was the one who ate the most =P sorry my friends at the table... =P

i want to visit this restaurant again! Will drag my boyfriend... =P

Was at a blogger event last night at Essential Brew. The place was cosy and nice. I like the way they did up the upper deck. But for those with smelly feet, you might want to stay on the lower deck. (Cos you need to remove your shoes if you dine at the upper floor.) And ladies in super mini skirt, please avoid too. Or bring a jacket. :)

I forgot to take a look at the menu, was busy taking photos of it but didn't flip it open.

I had the Cajun Dory and I enjoyed it. (Although it was already cold when I ate it.) The fish was still crispy outside and the softness inside is nice. There was no fishy smell and the cajun blended well with the fish. The rice that came with it was something unique. It looked like curry sauce at first but it was sweet. I lovee it so much I cleared off the entire plate! The rice has a sauce over it which tasted like Oolong tea. It gives a refreshing feeling.

The desserts were served complimentary. For my table it was a brownie like cake with ice-cream. It doesn't taste like brownie so I'm calling it chocolate cake. This one I would probably give it a miss as it was not to my liking.

Now that I've got their discount card, I'll most probably be going back when I have time to travel all the way to Holland Village. I want to try their other dishes! The Crispy Lemongrass Chicken and the Honey Mastard Chicken looks nice too.

Anyone want to go give this place a try? ;)
