Been to this place for some desserts after a meal at ChompChomp. The place looked not bad. There was one section right inside the shop, which had some couches and the room was like purple colour.

The staff were quite polite. But we had to go to the counter to order the food.

My frd ordered an icecream he designed, which cost around $7plus.

I ordered a mango icecream with alcohol. But when the icecream came, I was kind of disappointed. The price was not cheap but the portion was only one scoop, too little in my opinion. And I did not taste any alcohol in it.

It's not a bad place to go for non-fussy ppl.
But I wouldn't really go back.

Desserts are guilty indulgence? Over here, guilty, yes. Indulgence, needs a little more work.

Most of the desserts there taste mediocre, no wow factor.
Still a nice place to go and have long chit-chats with friends.
Maybe its just me, or the sofa seats were too low and sinks in too much. Makes it difficult to get to your orders when it's serves at your table.

Tried their waffle ice-cream, say-cheese and mud pie with banana.

None of them tasted awful (since its ice-cream), but nothing that made a lasting impression.

The waffle wasn't warm enough, the home-made ice-creams were so-so. Had cookies and cream with mint choc. The mint choc was nicer, don't try their cookies and cream.

Say-cheese was freaking sweet initially, but this is the only one that grew on me.

The banana mud pie was just like those from push-cart ice-cream vendors, you know, those block ice-creams that gets sliced into rectangular pieces, with slices of banana spread over it. But banana and ice-cream combo never goes wrong.

Service wasn't fantastic. Just a nice place to chill and feel fat.

It was one of those occasion that I travelled all the way down to Serangoon Gardens for desserts. It was the first time I visited Ice³(Ice Cube) and it didn't exactly WOW me.

Firstly, it was noisy and packed with kids on a weekend such that we have to end up sitting on the high chairs at the bar top table that were uncomfortable to sit on, although we did eventually managed to find a table.

4 of us have a dessert each and ordered Apple Crumble w Cinnamon Ice Cream & Caramel Syrup, Choc Brownie w Choc Ice Cream, Choc Fudge & Choc Chunks, Waffle w Vanilla Ice Cream & Choc Fudge and Rum & Raisin Ice Cream on Oreo Crust w Raisins, Almond Flakes & Butterscotch Syrup.

To be honest none of the dessert won me over except for their signatured Rum & Raisin Ice Cream on Oreo Crust w Raisins, Almond Flakes & Butterscotch Syrup. The ice cream was fully flavoured with Rum and the topping of 'REAL' Raisins sealed the deal (Not that I am a big fan of raisins though). Coupled with a nice Butterscotch Syrup at the top and you have an award winning deserving dessert!

After dinner at Sushi Tei, it desserts time. My BF and I went down to Ice3 for desserts...

The place something like 2 sections. Infront has some tall table with chairs, at the side has those normal table and chairs. At the back has sofa seats which the lighting is abit dim...

The place has ice-cream, waffles, brownies, cakes, foundue, crepes, mudpies and drinks.. You get to design your own ice-cream too..

Looking at the menu not sure what to have... As it Tuesday there is 50% for the crepes. After much consider. We decided to have a Apple Crumple & Waffle with Single Scoop ice-cream.

          Apple Crumple $7.90
Warm apple crumple served with apple cinnamon ice cream, drizzled with rich carmel syrup and garnished with apple crisps. The apple crumple were served hot, not too sweet just nice. But the apply cinnamon ice cream taste was too strong. Either you like it or you don't. For me, I don't really like it. The apple crisps is a bit not that crispy. But it was not that bad.

          Waffle Single Scoop Ice-Cream $7.90
The waffle were big and crispy, it goes well with cookies & cream ice-cream and butterscotch syrup. I like it alot as it not too sweet. Just nice for me.

Overall it not a bad place, nice place to chill out.

Total Bill: $17.40 (Including 10% GST)

After our dinner at Hong Kong Cafe, we proceeded to Ice³(Ice Cube) at Serangoon Gardens for some dessert. Ice³ is a trendy looking place with bar top tables affixed with blue neon lights below to give that hip and modern feel. We settled into a cozy sofa seat tucked right at the end of the cafe and hidden from the view of passers by. After much contemplation, we had a single Fondue set, a double Fondue set and a Waffle with Chocolate Syrup and Ice Cream.

We were very surprised by the size of the Fondues when they arrived. The single Fondue set was actually meant for 2 pax, whereas the double Fondue set was meant for 3-4 pax! And all the while, we thought a double set was only meant for 2! The variety of ingredients was much better than that of Max Brenners. However, only one type of Chocolate was given, as compared to three given by Max Brenners. There was Ice Cream, Bananas, Marsh mellows, Peaches, Crushed Nuts and Strawberries. The Chocolate was quite concentrated and sinfully sweet.

The Waffle was undoubtedly the star of the day. Crisp and decadent with the generous drizzle of Chocolate Syrup and the smooth home made Chocolate Ice Cream. Size is also not an issue here. The waffle is huge.

All in all, the desserts cost us to the tune of $44.75/-, which was a little on the high side. It is still slightly cheaper as compared to other outlets which offer similar products, but my main peeve is that service charge is levied when there is not much service to speak about. Not that the wait staff are unfriendly or what, but I had to pour and refill my iced water myself, walk up to the counter to order and make payment as well. So whereabouts does the service come from?

After our rather filling dinner @ Pow Sing Restuarant in the previous post, we proceeded to have dessert @ Icecube which was conveniently nearby. This is what we had.

Mudpie - I really can't remember what flavor this mudpie was. Thus i forgot the name as well. Terribly sorry. However, i remember it had caramel and a flavor reminiscent of peanuts. Smooth and quite fulfilling though a little too sweet.

Waffle with cookies and cream ice cream - I'd say the waffle is excellent. Definately try it. Its served warm and with the ice cream melting atop it. Tastes simply heavenly. Not to mention the ice cream is pretty good as well. You must try this.

Total for this came up to $20 as well. As a good place for dessert, its definitely worth a try and visit for the waffle alone.

Ultimately cool place! A pity I don't have photos of it, but I've went to this place once and since then, totally adored this place. But because of the location (extremely far from my place and hard to get to), I haven't been back there since. It's actually located near Chomp Chomp, for those who stay in Serangoon. Somewhere down the road opposite Chomp Chomp, with a bus stop that has only 2 (I think) buses going there.

I like this place because of its cool environment. Something really special and unique. They have bar top-like tables that has somewhat like a piece of blue frosted glass on the table top. Below the glass, there's a light bulb that, when turned on, gives the table a blue luminous effect. But there's only 2 long tables that are positioned at a visible area from the streets. It's not hard to miss at night. And I would definitely recommend people to go at night too, because the ambience there would be better then. Unfortunately, it does not have a very big area, so if I'm not wrong, it'll be quite packed at peak hours.

This place sells mainly desserts. Ice creams, mudpies, brownies and stuff. The food is served in a very creative way. Especially for the ice cream, it comes with a small test tube of alcohol of your choice from the list. The test tube has its own test tube holder that is triangle (or round also I think) shaped. I find it very interesting. The combination of ice cream and alcohol was quite a fresh idea to me, which really had a great part in leaving a good impression in me.

Apart from desserts, they also have simple finger food like calamari and onion rings etc. As well as other western food I think.

Great place to chill, I'd say. Give it a shot (:
