All membership programmes should be like this
2 weeks back, we spent about $800 at IKEA purchasing customised wardrobe and a foldable bed, among others. And with that, we are able to join the IKEA Friends membership programme.
The best part? We get to earn points right from the dollar we spend in getting the card. This is unlike other memberships where the first purchase that gets you the membership does not count. In other words, we already earned enough points to waive our second year's membership. And by spending another $100 dollars, we can effectively waive our third year.
On top of that, we get to enjoy 2 free beverages daily. If only they allow us to redeem hotdogs instead.
