I frequently eat here as this outlet is near my place and I must say you can eat the noodles here as often as once a week and won't get tired of it. :)

The noodles here are springy, with just the right amount of bounce and make for a delicious mouthful combined with the sauce and the yummy and generous spread of charsiew. There are also some caixin and some crunchy bits to go along with it, making it a piquant dish with a good amount of variety. If you order the more expensive version, it comes with prawns (good) or abalone (not so good). Very nice and filling. Choice of drinks ranges from packed luohan longgan, coconut and lime juice.

Recently, they also opened a 'kopitiam' style sidestall to serve teh and kopi and the like. Haven't really tried that one though.

The only complaint might be pricewise tho...they used to charge $4 bucks for the no-frills version but recently upped it to $4.30 when they decided to stop absorbing GST. That is just barely worth it, I don't think I'd continue to eat there if they upped it any further. That said, it is still one of my favourite foods along Kiliney Road and good to eat!

i think this branch of kolo mee is the best! ^^ (it's actually the main branch) and i think it's cheaper than its branches.. I always order the recommended kolo mee.. The one with char siew, wanton, and prawn. Super nice! Shiok chilli too! Usually it's not too crowded.

The ordering system is kinda troublesome though. You have to walk to the counter to place the order. Haha. Sorry, I'm a spoiled girl. I like my order to be taken by a waiter who comes to my table! =P Oh the good thing is usually the person at the counter speaks English! Yeay! This is beri beri important to me you know, as a person who looks Chinese with nearly zero Chinese knowledge.

I don't like their beverages =( they sell those pre-packed beverages.. They have luohan longan, lime juice, and aloe vera if i'm not wrong.. But those are not delicious! Maybe it was because of citric acid.. It feels funny on your tongue.

However all in all, I really like this place! I used to come here with my group of friends, chatting **** endlessly. How I miss those times! Will urge them to come again!
