With the extension of the new wing, Jurong Point has become the largest heartland mall in Singapore. It houses numerous retailers, but what I found lacking was that it doesn't have a proper departmental store, except for John Little which only occupies a average-sized space on the ground floor.
Although there are many boutiques, most are mid-priced retailers like BYSI, Wanko, Estyle, and the like. You can't find top labels like Guess, Zara here.
However there are many stores that sell unique merchandise and stationery, for example, in the basement you can find many shops offering cute decorations and stationery. Action City is just one of the many.

Jurong Point Shopping Centre is the MEGA MALL of the heartlands ! It's recently opened extension has set the hearts on fire of not just heartlanders in the Jurong neighbourhood but of all the heartlanders in singapore !
