Date: 23-08-08 Timing: abt 8 coming 9pm Tried: Shoulder Massage (20 mins) Price: $29/- (payment 1st) Svc: Pretty good. Warm & friendly. Shoulder massager seems to know his "job" well. Massage was overall effective. Impression: Nice, soothing & comfortable. V chinese-style with its furniture & layout. Looks pretty professional as well.

This outlet is definitely "new" to me, or it might be I've nt been gg out for some time.. Haz. But we walked passed & saw this refreshingly updated outlet which shows passer-bys their Fish Spa (open concept with glass walls so you can see the doctor fishes & e person's legs). Which is I would say, quite fascinating for most of us coz we seldom see "this" gg on ard us.....

Anywayz, we were walking by & this lady was giving out Kenko vouchers & leaflet on discount promote Fish Spa..... My friend was actually more keen on having a massage & was looking at the shoulder massage "offers" on the glass panel at its entrance.

He decided to have one, & so we stepped in.. We were welcomed & attended by e manager (i think - coz she was wearing a different outfit from e norm massagers) and he went ahead for shoulder massage... I didn't have any though, coz I'm 1 who isn't too keen on all these actually... While waiting (was sitting on 1 of the cushion stool chairs near the wall (in between the beds for foot massage & back massage area) & observing..

The furnishing & everything makes one feel pretty comfortable & I tell you, e no. of ppl coming in to have its services is really alot.. A lady foot massager was massaging for a Malay lady as she was lying down on the bed... Looks comfy too..

My friend was brought to & seated @ 1 of the seats where u lie frontwards so tt u can be massaged on the back fairly quickly after he made payment. & the guy massager started to massage for him after he briefly explained to him especially abt his left shoulder ache... The guy massage used his strong hands.. Elbow... Massage massage. Seems tt lady customers were served by ladies, and guys by male massagers.. My friend seemed pretty comfortable, moving a little upon the massager's movement due to e force used. Couldn't c his face though coz it was also covered with a cloth.

Feedback from my friend was tt the massager was kind & listened to him patiently. Has much force & used much force.. It was a little painful, but he commented his left shoulder felt much better after the massage.... Didn't ache tt much. The massager actually asked him if he wanted to cont for another 10 mins, because he explained tt it (2 "ligaments"-i think*-根 in chinese) were v stiff & it would be better for him to do a longer treatment to aid.. But we had some plans & so he refused the kind offer.

After e massage, they will seat u (@ where I was seated, e cushion stool chairs) & serve a complimentary hot cup of tea. You can see it in my picture, e green colour cup on the chinese wooden table. Well, he was advised nt to have any cold drink within the next 1 hr..

It was a pretty pleasant experience & the Fish Spa definitely seemed interesting to be tried out. Price is not v cheap I wld say (if u compare to in Thailand etc), but if e massage is effective, it wld be sort of value for money I guess.. & it's also to pass time probably before a movie or something.. Why nt? Especially if you have an ache or you're feeling stressed or tight somewhere.....

    Cheerz.
