We planned to go to Long Bar to check out the famous Singapore sling. And we were more thrilled when we found out that we can throw peanut shells on the floor...so it's like the only place in Sg (i am not sure if there are other) where littering is legal...just peanut shells though :)
Before we take our seats, we asked the bartender if the Singapore Sling they are serving today has the same recipe as what they're serving years back. He said YES. So we took our seats and ordered.
Having tried the Singapore Sling where it was originaly created was pretty cool. I can probably drink 4 or 5 glases and will not get drunk. The place is kinda busy and looks really historical, i.e., old. I like the fans in the ceiling.
We went out with a sense of pride as we've tried the original world famous Sling (finally) and tired jaw from munching the freeflowing peanuts.

I'm not a regular there, but their Strawberry Margarita had to be the best I have tried so far! Their throw-your-peanut-shells-on-the-floor is one cool bar culture I've yet to experience anywhere else. The cosiness and chatter should also place anyone at ease immediately.
