I travelled via Singapore Airlines, Cathay, Canada Air and Asiana before. But so far, I find my experience with Lufthansa the worst of all.

The tickets to Europe are not cheap, with KLM offering the cheapest most of the time. KLM is a 3-star airline while Lufthansa is a 4-star airline. However, in my opinion, Lufthansa is as good as a 3-star one, despite the fact that I pay more to travel with Lufthansa than with KLM.

The Asian food they serve are really not for human consumption. It is not fresh and not appealing to the eyes. I asked for chocolate milk on my flight, and was disappointed that they do not serve chocolate milk (even to kids). Their snack choice is not standardized. I got instant noodles on my flight to Europe, but nothing on my way back.

The seats were cramp, with no leg rest area. No socks were provided, unlike with SQ.

On my journey to Europe, I was upset that they only had overhead shared entertainment instead of personal ones! Imagine I have to stayed up and wait for them to show my favourite shows! Luckily, thanks to star alliance with SQ, they offer personal entertainment on the way back. But no games unlike for SQ.

If you need to travel to Europe, please choose SQ, unless you are willing to put up with non-tasty food and lousy resting environment.
