It's just like another Donut Factory, just that they call it Munchy Donuts.

My most recent visit was quite a disappointment. Their donuts were not as fresh as what i had previously. Perhaps i went at a wrong time or it was just my luck. But i feel that they should try to maintain their standards constantly.

Other that the most recent visit, my previous visits was all rather satisfying as their donuts are comparable to donut factory ones. Nice and crispy.
Hope the next time i visit it will not be a disappointment. =)

Besides Donut Factory, I love Munchy Donuts.

      Recommended on the list:

      a) Cinnamon donut
      b) Oreo donut
      c) Cookies and cream (think this is new cos I saw it only last sunday at united square outlet)

Their donuts are soft even after reheating. And I think their selections are better than other donut establishments.

And yes, they seem to have some tie ups with Cold Storage. I know they have outlets inside Cold storage in Causeway Point, United Square and Wood* (near Bedok Corner).

        oooh. MUNCHY DONUTS.

i heard so much abt them, that aft trying donut factory i had always wanted to try it.

finally went down with a fren, and we ate like 6 halves each.

        i wasn't impressed.

it didn't taste fresh, and i didn't feel like eating anymore after two halves.

of course, i have to give credit to the fact that they have much more variety, and flavours. But in my opinion, donut factory is still better.

and oh yah, munchies seem slightly smaller than donut factory!

i love how munchy donuts are nice n crisp on the outside yet so deliciously soft on the inside. and it stays that way even after a few hours unlike other donuts that tend to harden. not only that but the fillings and toppings are generous and not too sweet. such as my favourite chocz o cream..i love the chocolate topping and the filling which is butter cream custard makes it a perfect balance n not too chocolaty..and the latte donut is a perfect weapon against sleepiness and hunger combined..but my two favourites are definitely the oreo donut and coco pops donut..compared with other oreo donuts, munchy's oreo is one u savour bite after bite..and makes u want more when u finish it. as for coco pops..well what can i say..its coco pops..although u might want to eat it right after u get it..if not the pops loses its pop-ness..and it has some intresting flavours too..i was a bit hesitant to try the putting green yet the red bean custard cream is not too sweet n the green tea topping isnt too overwhelming..thou im not a huge fan of the peppermint cheese donut..a bit tooo cheesey but the cheez donut is a must try for cheeze lovers..i was pleasantly surprised when i tried it..the parsely gives it more oomph..

n they have a new flavour, rocky road or sumthin. has both nuts and coco pops..im hooked to that now..

and as simple as it looks the munch me and power pop is delicous too. my mom loves them.

and i love how quick their service is..so mayb i came at a not so busy time but the servers were nice and very patient with me(cos i usualli dont know how many of wic to get)..no 2 hour waiting sessions for me so yay..

n now that theres one at bedok i no longer have to travel to tj katong to get my donut fix.

I simply love munchy donuts. Everytime i walk pass a Munchy donut stall, i will inhale the smell deeply. Its smell has a luring effect to the food itself, and the colours on them absolutely appealing. There is quite a good selection and I especially love the green tea and white chocolate flavours. i can't help but pack a box of ten pieces each round, Go for that.

Decided to give Munchy Donuts another go today. I'd previously bought a box from one of their branches about a week back but only got to eat one thanks to my friends -.-

One thing I would recommend is to buy from their flagship store in Tanjong Katong. There's much more variety than at the branches. The good thing is that there's usually little or no queue at either, though.

The variety of flavours is pretty good - lots of chocolatey stuff and a couple of savoury flavours. Look pretty nice as well. The dough wasn't too oily either, and stayed fairly soft even without reheating.

Having said that though, there's nothing fantastic about Munchy. The donuts aren't too bad, but they're not exactly snack material - it's not something you'd specially make the effort to go and buy. Definitely nothing on DD or Krispy Kreme.

In my opinion: only if you want your donuts fast and don't mind skimping a bit on quality for a shorter queue.

Munchy Donuts (Tanjong Katong) - Food and Beverages

So I guess everyone has a different tast preference. I've tried many different brands of Donut in Singapore.

I still like Munchy Donut, Soft & not oily.

I've heard so much about Krispy Kreme. While coming back from my vacation in Hong Kong, I've bought Krispy Kreme from the Airport. I was sooo... disappointed after eating. It was soo sweet... and believed me too sweet... I wonder if US Krispy Kream & Hong Kong Krispy Kream are the same????

My friends and I still prefer Munchy Donut, otherwise, they wouldn't be voted by 8 days Magazine overall best donut among all the other brands. I heard a rumor from friends in Mediacorp that Munchy is coming to Toa Payoh Central... Wow! Can't wait...hehe coz my office is in HDB Hub....lucky me! :-)
