I bought a few pieces from Snowlights before. What is so special about this blogshop is that its designs are very unique compared to what you will normally find in department stores. For example, many of its jewellery are adorned with cute charms, flowers and the likes on top of crystals and pearls. For most jewellery in department stores, you will find either crystal, pearls or the use of coloured stones like those in Chomel, but rarely the use of rocking horse charms, flowers and etc.
I learnt about Snowlight from Yebber. I took a look and I must say I am fairly impressed by what I found. Most of the designs are pretty, unique and the price are fairly affordable. You can find some bracelets for as low as $8, and they seldom exceed $30. This is unlike some other handmade jewellery blogshops I visited, where pieces often go for over $20 and more.
Like the other blog-shops most of the pieces are limited edition with 2-3 pieces for each design, so you really have to place your order early if you wish to get what you want. A good way to stay updated is to subscribe to its mailing list.
The website is also easy to navigate and the pictures of the jewellery are usually fairly clear, with pictures taken from different angles.
I personally bought from Snowlights on 3 occasions. 1 of them was as a xmas gift to my friend (Fairy of the willow). The other 2 for my own, including one which is of a customised necklace.
The owner is very sweet and friendly, with her pieces very hot-selling! I personally had her to customise some pieces like changing of crystal colours and she agreed! That is of course depending on the availability of materials. She also gave me pouches for the necklaces, which is perfect as a gift!
Kudos to her service and handmade pieces! Definitely worth the price!
My favourite is my latest customised necklace! Will definitely buy from her again! :)
Snowlights has indeed shown improvement to her wiring skills. Her wirework is so lovely and intricate. With the use of the charms and flowers, every piece has bring out it's uniqueness.
I would like to say 'Thank You', to Vanessa and Sylvia for their kind reviews on Snowlights (aka Snow's Closet).
I feel so touched for their initiative and enthusiasm.
I personally welcome them as my new customers and I appreciate their continued patronage, and look forward to being able to assist them in the near future.
Do visit my webby again. I will achieve my best and churn out more & more accessories for all of you!
Snowlights is a good blogshop! Ade creates beautiful jewelry with excellent workmanship yet with a very affordable price! Bought my earrings under $10 and it looks as good as $20 earrings.
I love her wirework! It's so pretty and intricate.. She's already made many unique-shaped jewelry with interesting wirework. (See her website to see...Hehehe) She throws in many cute little things to adorn the jewelry. Butterflies, leaves, picnic basket, and many more.. Totally unique.
The owner is very friendly and will give personalized service. This is important, you know! I find many online shops with "adding to cart" option seems kinda cold and not engaging.. Oh she also wraps the package nicely and gives instruction to care the jewelry (hand-signed by her.. Personalization!).
And have I mentioned that they're cheap?? For excellent wirework and unique juxtaposition of little bits, the price is really a good value.
Snowlights (aka Snow's Closet) is a blogshop that sells handmade accessories. Owner Ade, who also happens to be a florist, makes use of every possible material to create her accessories, including mini teddy bears!
The accessories are very affordable such that even school students who have a fixed allowance can afford it!
While they are affordable, Ade also ensures that she uses only the best (in quality) materials to create her accessories.
When you're browsing, there will be a nice slow song playing in the background. It gives you a very relaxed feeling, and coupled with a nice and simple clear-cut layout, viewing the website is a real pleasure.
The photographs displayed on the website are accurate and there is little or no discrepancies from the real thing itself!
Personally, i've purchased a necklace from her. Initially i was quite worried that i'd purchased something that might have looked better than it actually was (like another blogshop i visited), but when i received it, i was pleasantly surprised! The real deal looked SO MUCH BETTER than in the photos! And furthermore, Ade packed my very delicate necklace into a nice little black box and cushioned it very well with just the right amount of bubble wrap.
Other blogshop owners just wrapped many layers of bubblewrap around the necklace and its a real chore to open it because i have to be cautious not to break of any part of the necklace inside!
Ade also adds in her personal touch by providing instructions on how to care for the trinklets.
All in all, i feel that for an online blogshop, Snowlights is more professional than it looks.
What you see may not be what you get, because what you get could be so much better! So go visit Snow's Closet today and be pleasantly surprised!
