I was looking for a wardrobe. I couldn't find one that I like. The closest was one I saw in this showroom few months ago. Therefore, I went back to the same shop to see if It is still available. The one that I saw was slightly bigger and is no longer available. It is replaced by a similar design standard 4-door wardrobe. So we approach the salesman for the price. Supprisingly the price was more expensive than the previous one. Since it is now within the Singapore Sale period, we simply ask the salesman any discount for this period. Instead of a simple 'Sorry, the price is fixed', the salesman told us a long story, 'The price is fixed. I can show you the price list. If I give you discount, my boss will question us and ask us to pay from our own pocket....', I just simply laught over it and ask 'Can you remove my old wardrobe then?'. The salesman said, 'No, we don't do that. You have to remove it yourself.'. I said, 'How much will you charge if you were to remove it for us. Otherwise we will have a problem when the new wardrobe arrives'. The salesman said, 'I can give you a number, you can call this guy to remove it for you. He used to do this for our company'. I said, 'Can you call him and arrange for us?', 'No, you must do it yourself'.

At the end, I told him 'You cannot give discount, you cannot remove my old furniture, you cannot make arrangement for us, what can you do then?'. He said, 'too bad, I really can't do anything for you. Our boss is very strict. You can see that all other salesman also show no interest...'

So I see.. He is trying to tell us something..I jokingly said, 'So who is your boss, may be I should call him to make some complaints.'. The salesman reply happily, 'You can complain, but don't complain about me'. I laught and walk away.

Boss, you really have a problem.
