Went to this outlet a few times, they have v good and fast service.
I must agree that their xiao long bao wasn't very good, the skin too thick. I particularly like their hor fun with a raw egg on top and their gyoza (jia zhi).
Their soft shell crab is good, I think it's the gravy that's good but abit too small in portion.
Not bad for a full and fast meal, their prices are still reasonable.
I think the ambience was not bad, but the xiao long bao was not nice at all. The skin too tough and thick for my liking. The la mian was good though~ I tried the avocado snow drink too, not bad as it was not too milk.
the service was fast though, good, dont really like waiting long for food. Hungry peoples makes angry people :P
Beautifully decorated with traditional furnitures and flowered wallpapers, Asian Kitchen just brings about a nice ambience and provides a soothing place to have a meal. With the efficient service, the visit was definitely worth it. :)
Ah..and I do agree that the xiao long baos are GREAT! :) They came steaming hot, and the soup within just gushes out when u take a bite into it. Delightable taste that just makes u want it more! ;)
I also tried their fried rice, and..it was not bad. I just found it a little too oily for my preference. Yet..I guess traditional fried rice just needs more oil to get the flavour. However, they serve other traditional Chinese food that you can try as well. :)
When i was there, i tried the xiao long bao and noodles. The Xiao Long Bao was really really nice and delicious. Its very juicy and steaming hot! ;)
It was a Sunday that day, and there's really a lot of people in that restaurant. But i would say the service of the staff were fast. My food was served within 10-15 minutes' time despite the peak hour.
The asian kitchen to me, basically served the traditional Chinese food commonly seen from China (like Xiao Long Bao and noodle stuff) and some local dishes (like hor fun).
On top of that, they actually also sell dessert! my fav;) I ordered mango sago there. I would highly recommend that you try this dessert as it contains a rich mango taste with some coconut milk and lots of sago!
