    *Review done by my girlfriend*

My bestfriend and I were craving for some midnight sweets so we headed done to Thomson Road to try out the Tong Shui Cafe. There is a choice of dining inside or alfresco style in the end we choose to dine inside.

Receiving the menu we were spoilt for choice. The waiters also served preserved vegetables and wet wipes WHICH WILL BE CHARGED (although they don't inform you about it) so we politely told them we didn't need it. To order you have to write it on the paper given to you and ask the waiter to take it from your table.

    Mango Pomelo Snowy Mountain

This dessert contains a good portion of lime (the sweet kind) flavoured ice shavings topped with mango puree and chunks of real mango and Pomelo. This combination was nice as the pomelo and lime-flavoured ice shavings helped balanced the sweetness of the mango puree. Refreshing and pleasant choice for mango lovers.

White Fungus with Red Dates (Cold)

This dessert has a nice tradtional chinese dessert taste. A bit too sweet for my liking. The ice shavings were VERY LITTLE so if you are going to order it write more ice shavings under the remarks section when ordering. The white fungus was nice and soft with a bit of bite. I think with more ice shavings it will help reduced the sweetness making it just nice.

I can't really remember the price but the cold desserts were around $3.90-$4.90 each without including GST. I will go back again to try the other famous dishes such as their thick toast.

A thing to note, operations hours are from 6pm-6am.
