Ascension Dental Clinic

I hadn't been to the dentist in years, but one day I realised my wisdom teeth had grown and I needed an opinion on whether they had to be extracted.

Since I didn't have a regular dentist, I just went to one of those big dental chains (which I will not mention here) for cleaning and an opinion on my wisdom teeth. The experience was horrible. The dentist was impatient, rough, and rather rude. I told myself I would never go back there.

I went home and told my parents about it, who said I was silly to go to the big dental chain when there was such a good dentist so near home - Ascension Dental Clinic, a private business run by Dr. Eugene Quek.

I took their advice and went there, and the experience was a 180 degree change. Dr. Quek was extremely nice and patient, and took his time to describe to me clearly why it was best that I should extract my wisdom teeth. He answered all my questions and allayed my fears in a very professional and caring manner.

I decided on Ascension, and since then have had two wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Quek. The operations went very smoothly and he was very gentle and never once rushed through them. When I was experiencing a lot of pain for my bottom tooth after the surgery (which is natural for the first day), he followed up by SMS every day with advice for me, until I was a lot better.

The professionalism and care that he and his staff have displayed (his receptionist is also very polite and helpful) are outstanding and I fully recommend him.

Lastly, if you are thinking that his dental services are expensive, I can tell you frankly that the pricing is very comparable to that of the big dental chain I went to; and the dental experience you'll get is so much better!
