It claims to be different in their meat cuts and cooking and fries cuts different from other fast foods outlets, and priced it almost double than BK.

But when I ate their specialty burger with beef platter, can't seems to taste much difference of its meat cuts tenderness and cooking standard compared to BK. And after taste when the balance of the food is cool, its has the sticky gluey oil feeling similar to BK oil (such harder to digest sticky oil feeling is not found in Mac burger).

When eating their specialty fries, I was missing Mos Burger, Swensens & occasional Mac fries.

Even though its NOT value-for-money for my standard, but I know of other mid-30s Westernized female friends who are a fan of this. The typical local early-30s male friends don't really appreciate this.

Once again, their portobello mushroom burger is really great, if not just a bit oily and a wee bit expensive (for a 'double' its about $12, for a 'single' patty its around $10).

Yes its a big burger, but just think a bit bigger than big mac. I try not to eat here too much cause its just expensive.

Their criss-cross fries reminds me of the one at Macdonalds, just that its seasonal over at mac.

I prefer the fries with meat pieces (sort of like bak chor) on top. Beef-cut fries i think. Its really nice, though at $5 its just a bit steep.

Did i forget to mention that their burgers come packed with large slices of tomatoes, lettuce and onion? It gets a bit hard to eat sometimes.

They serve salad, so its great for people who decides not to eat meat on that day, or just vegetarians in general.

One thing i really like about Carl's Junior is their free flow of drinks. I always drink their ice lemon tea (you have to fill up the iced tea, and then add enough sweetener to your hearts' content).

Trivia: Do you know Ice lemon tea is best served really cold?
Next time you come to Carl's Junior, fill up your large cup FULL of ice, before adding in 85% iced tea and 15% sweetener. Your Iced tea will really be iced, and it feels really great :)

Only complaint i have about Carl's junior are the prices, but if you go there once a month or so its fine~

I love their their portobello mushroom burger, crisscut fries, onion rings & of course their DIY ice lemon tea!

Yes, they serve very huge burgers which I can't finish by myself. Haha.... They are very generous with their mushrooms & it goes really well with the melted cheese. Yummy! Their fries are large and crispy too, especially their onion rings which is definitely worth a mention. In the thin crust of flour is not more flour but real onions! An of course fast food should come in a set. So the drink comes in free flow where the cashier will just give you an empty cup upon ordering. Then you can proceed to the drinks counter to get your drinks. I like their ice lemon tea as it is home-brewed tea & you can add the lemons, sugar syrup & ice according to your preference. My favourite task is to add as much lemon into it as possible. Haha....

Though it's fast food, it's worth the sins to have it sometimes. Haha....
