Actually it's better for a family shopping place coz i hate crowds, and i like it there as it's more relaxing to shop, not like in Orchard Road where everything is fast moving and so crowded. Even though the shops are limited but great space if you have kids who just doesn't hold on to your hands. For a nice Saturday evening shopping with family, can try this place. But remember shops are limited.
William and Sharon gives great service, helpful and honest decision when choosing glasses for my 9yr old son and myself. Especially it's the first glasses for my son. They give tips to on how to take care of his eyesight and recommends sports and healthy meals to go along. And what to expect of him using the glasses for the first time and recommend a glasses that's reasonable ($80) as my son sometimes tends to lose his things. Apart from that the glasses that I choose is of a better quality and of course it's GUCCI at $300. With great service i don't mind paying at all, and the end of the day what makes you and your family happy is the most important. :)
I've got my family up in the flyer during last weekend, I like it as it wasn't crowded or jammed packed with tourist. We board the flyer around 5pm. In the capsule there's 12 pax (4 kids, 6 adults), so we get to move around and have space viewing at all angles. The kids love it, exciting and fascinated to see Singapore overview, but as for me it's no big deals as my office is high up on the 30th floor and yeas i can see the same view but not window view standing right down where you can see the ground! ;)
If you have the chance why not go for it, if not it doesn't matter. :)
Saturday evening, 7pm, people are of course rushing for dinner. I had a large pax of hungry people and kids with me (5 adults and 4 children). So getting a table wasn't easy for our crowd. But the waitress was super efficient, she took our orders especially the kids first before we even had our table. And in 15mins we got a table and the kids food came in within 5mins after and then our food. Great co-ordination skills! Kids love their kids menu of cheese and ham mini burgers, the portion is just nice for them. Happy kids = Happy people :)
Different from KFC, this chicken is to die for! ;) You got to have patience in waiting to get a spot for dinner or lunch time during the weekends as it is always crowded! What you've got to try is the Spring Chicken and Natural Fries (thinly sliced potatoes, like chips but slightly thicker) $2.50 a basket. Or the Potato Platter that consists of Wedges, Natural Fries and Criss-cross cut Fries.
