My BF and I were craving for crabs so we decided to go and have crab for dinner. I have been to this zhi cha stall alot of time since I was young as the place is actually near my house.
We wanted a smiple crab meal so we order a crab dish, 10 pcs of man tou(fried bun) and a bowl of rice.
Shimmering Sand Crab ($29.70)
(Crab - $35 per Kg)
The first time I try this dish I began to like it, I did try other places crabs but I still prefer this dish. The crab were actually not to bad. The sauce is actually thick, creamy, cheesy. If I'm not wrong there is butter, cheese, mayonnaise, chili padi, curry leaves. On top of the crab is actually some fried coconut pulps.
10pcs of Fried Man Tou(Bun) ($2.50)
The bun were serve hot. It crispy and nice. The sauce really go well with fried man tou.
The service were good as the lady will always have a cheerful smile to welcome you. Do try some of their recommend dishes. It really not bad.

There is a pool table infront, on the left hand side is the bar, right side there is alot of sofa seat and inside there is other seat too. It something like a open air bar. No air-con but I wouldn't feel hot as it actually windy to me.
Hmm... I didn't get to seat on those comfortable sofa seat. Anyway it ok. we order some finger foods and drinks.
1 BBQ Bacon Rolls ($4.80)
2 sticks of bacon rolls, each roll has 3 small bacon rolls. The bacon was small and oily. Not really that good. For the price, I don't think it worth.
1 Samosas ($3.80)
8 pieces of samosas, inside there is curry potato. It hot and good. It not oily. Nice finger food to go with beer.
1 Honey & Lemon Juice ($2.90)
I didn't get to try it as my colleague has order it. She said it abit sweet but it still refreshing to her.
4 Hoegaargen (Half Pint) ($31.20)
1 half pint is $7.80, I have intro this drink to my colleague. She feel is smooth. Same goes to me. I feel the beer is smooth too. Not bad.
The place do sell few different type of wine, beer and some main course too. I didn't get to try, will go back and try other foods and drinks.
Overall I like the place, it good place to relax and chill out with your friends. I guess if you want to get the sofa seat is good that you call and make reservation.

Suddenly having carving for pies, so I went down to White Sand shopping centre and look for Polar puffs & cakes.
I purchase 2 chicken pie from them. Promotion price is 2 for $2.90. Usual price is 1 for $1.80.
The outer layer of the pastry is hot and crispy. The butter smell is strong. The filling were still hot when bitting the chicken pie. It has carrots, onions, potatos, geen peas and chicken cube. It has abit of pepper taste not too satly.
I used to remember few years back my dad has always brought puffs for us as supper. At that time the puffs were cheap. Now it has grown abit ex.
The chicken pie was not bad. It nice, just that it is abit oily. Will try the cakes next time.
Over the weekend, not too sure where to have our dinner... We choose Sakae SuShi.
We order 2 Green tea as our drinks, 1 Sashimi Salad, 1 Chicken Shiogayaki Don and 5 colour plate sushi.
1 Sashimi Salad with salad sauce - $7.99
It has lots of greens at the bottom, few slice of salmon, swordfish, cutter fish, ebi and fish roe. We pour half of the sauce into the salad. Not sure what it make of for the sauce but I can taste there is lemon juice and there is some seasme seeds. It taste sweet and sour.
1 Chicken Shiogayaki Don with miso soup - $9.99
Fried Chicken cube with some mayonise cabbage and carrot slice on top of the rice. I can taste there is some ginger taste on the chicken. It goes ok with the rice without any sauce of sides to go with the rice is dry and bland. For the price, the portion is abit small.
1 Inari Cheese(2 pcs) - $2.29
It has salmon, egg, cucumber and floss. The egg crep is bland, can't really taste the cheese. It taste sweet when you bite together.
1 Sun Maki(2 pcs) - $2.29
On top has abit of crab mayonise, avocado. Around the maki there is lots of fish roe. Inside of the of maki there is crab stick and cucumber.
1 Maki(2 pcs) - $2.29
Inside the maki there is cucumber, egg and floss. It wrap with seaweed and rice at the outside. The maki looks big as there is lots of rice.
2 Fried Tofu(4 pcs) - $4.58
Sping onion with sauce on top of the tofu. The outer layer of the tofu is hot and crispy. The tofu is soft. It goes well with the sauce.

Our Anniversary, My BF bring me to Braise for Lunch, as he heard that the food was not bad.
I like the place setting, everything looks white. It seems like a grasshouse. It air-con place.
We order 1 Braise Exec Lunch & 1 Braise Exec Lunch Special, 2 glass of Fruit Punch & 1 Ala Clat Cinnamon Apple Tarte.
While waiting for the food to be serve. They gave us complietary bread. The bread taste a bit like pizza. Can taste it has some spices and cheese. Not too hard and it nice.

The fruit punch nothing special but still ok.
Braise Exec Lunch Special $48
1 Appetizer
Pan Seared Foie Gras, Banana Chutney and Chocolate sauce. The Foie Gras were cripsy, a bit oily and salty. It goes well with the sauce. Not sure about the banana as I didn't try. Not bad dish.
1 Main Course
Roasted Pork Belly with Savoy Cabbage and Spiced Port Sauce. I usually don't eat pork belly as I scared of the fats. But, this pork belly was good. It has more meat and less fats. Not too oily too. The cabbage were sweet and nice, there is taste of ham. It goes well with the sauce. Nice Dish.
1 Dessert
Selection of Cheese Platter. It has 5 different flavours of cheese servced with lots of greens, raisins, dry fruits and some biscults. Sorry not too sure what flavours of cheese they served but we both agree that the blue cheese were not nice. I don't really feel cheese platter served as desset.

Pamma ham, Scallops and Rocket Salad with Honey Balsamic Dressing. Ham wrap around the scallops. The Ham taste a bit salty but it goes well with the scallops. The rocket salad with honey balsamic dressing were nice too.

Roasted Cod Fish with Ratatoulie and Basil Dressing. The Cod Fish were fresh. Ratatoulie has lots of vegetables. There is cucumber, green, red, yellow pepper. This dish was not bad. But not really that nice.
1 Dessert
Chocolate Lava Cake with Hazelnut Ice-cream. The Chocolate were served warm it not too sweet taste a bit better. But, when you eat it with the ice-cream it get more bitter. i feel they have served us the coffee ice-cream. But, I still find the dessert is nice. If they served it with vanila or chocolate chips ice-cream maybe it will be much better.
1 Ala Cart Dessert
Cinnamon Apple Tarte with Vanila Ice-Cream. In between the tarte there is apple. The Tarte is cripsy. Cinnammon taste not too strong. It goes well with the ice-cream. Not bad.
Service was not that bad. But, I still feel the price is a bit too high.
