My mum always buy bao from this stall home whenever she goes Tiong Bahru Market since it's quite near my house and I've been eating it for years. Now, I seldom eat baos, but whenever I eat it, it is most likely from this stall. The char siew bao is a must try as the fillings is different from that of other stalls. It is really delicious and the char siew is really "fragrant". I like the sauce they use for the char siew too.
Also the siew mai is not bad as well. Quite big and juicy. Give it a try if you're at Tiong Bahru Market!

      Category: Optician
I made my first pair of spectacles at this Tiong Bahru outlet at Paris Miki. The service was good and the optician was really professional and patient when testing my degree and while I was choosing the frame that fit me. The optician also recommended me frames that are suitable for my face shape, making the frame selection process easier for me at that time. The optician also told us tips on how to care for the spectacles, what to do, what not to do etc.

Even though the price for the spectacles is considered to be more expensive compared to other spectacles shop, I think the service made up for it.

As Tiong Bahru Plaza is considered the nearest shopping centre from my house, I eat quite frequently at the Kopitiam there. There's quite a range of food available there ranging from western food to soup like herbal chicken to Korean food, Japanese food, Yong Tau Foo to your regular local delights like chicken rice, carrot cake or wanton mee. Since I like korean food, I eat quite often at the Korean stall whenever I'm at Tiong Bahru Plaza. I usually eat the BBQ chicken, but I think the fish is really good too! Besides the wide variety, the place is also quite spacious and it is not that difficult to find seats unless you're there during really peaked hours.

Overall it's not bad a place to eat at if you don't want to go for fast food.

          49. Safra (Mount Faber)

I've visited Safra Mount Faber a couple of times to use the facilities there. Even though I've only went there to play pool as well as bowling, there are alot of other facilities available for use like the swimming pool, gym, badminton court, tennis court and rock wall which will satisfy sports enthusiast. Besides, there are also restaurants like Pioneer Spring Restaurant, Potter's Cafe, Ya Kun and Himawari Japanese Restaurant if need some food after your activities.

The pool game is rather affordable at the cost of $6-$9/hr depending on the time you went at and I must say that I like the environment there since it's rather clean and not rowdy. The bowling alley is alright too. It’s clean and there are alot of lanes available.

Safra Mount Faber is a good place for people who need to use the facilities for sports such as pool, bowling etc and the facilities there will definitely live up to your expectations.

            50. Sentosa

Actually, I have not been to Sentosa for quite a long time to play with the the attractions. Most of the time when I visit Sentosa, I'll go to the beaches there with a group of friends. There are actually a few beaches to choose from. Siloso beach is the more crowded and happening beach, while Tanjong beach is the more secluded and deserted beach. Besides, there's also the Palawan beach.

Apart from the beaches which is good for group gatherings and activities, the attractions are also quite fun. I really enjoyed the luge and skyride the last time I tried it. It was really fun. Must try if you're looking for something exciting and fun.

There are also other attractions in Sentosa which are probably worth the visit and you could probably spend one whole day in Sentosa, playing around with the attractions and having fun there with friends and family.
