This outlet is fairly large. And many of us Singaporeans have grown up with Bata. In our school-going days, chances are that we have patroned Bata for our white school shoes. Over the years, it has also made great strides in its designs of shoes. Most are trendy and incorporate comfort as some are designed specially to be kind to our feet.

    It also sell handbags now.

Most of the shoes are also reasonably priced at $20 onwards and are suitable for causal wear. However they are rarely durable. If you wear the shoes daily you can expect to wear them out after a couple of
    months.

The service at this outlet could do with improvement. The sale lady bought the wrong size for me to try, and when I asked for the correct size she seem reluctant to bring them out.

This outlet is fairly large and it sells women, men and children's wear. Currently it is having a sale. Many of its men's shirt at going at $25 where previously they retail at $30 upwards. Buy a few items and you get to enjoy an additional 10% off.

I particularly like their t-shirt collections due to the cute and colourful designs. You can find most at between $10-$15 now as they are having 30-50% discounts.

The sale people are friendly and helpful too. When I asked them to find my size or designs that I preferred, they willingly obliged.

This is a hyper- supermarket that opens 24 hours. It revolutionises the concept of the traditional supermarket, as you know it, by including electronics; clothes & accessory like underwear, slippers, etc; blankets & bedlinens into its inventory.

It is very large so you may not enjoy navigating through it if you are only looking for a few common items. Although it sells a wide range of merchandise, it does not neccessarily stock a variety of brands in each item category. For example: hangers- it only sells its NTUC brand.

Its service has room for improvement too,- buying a few plates, they do not wrap them with papers at the cashier instead you have to go to the service counter at the entrance to have them wrapped.

This shop sells lots of cute stuffs. You can find a funny, colourfully- designed cloth bags, which sells at about $30 onwards. Besides this, you can find a myraid of notebooks, foolscape pads all with cute designs, but of course you can expect to pay few bucks more compared to your boring old stationery.

Also available are stuff toys, some hair accessory... I bought some hair accessory before, and they didn't even bother to give me a paperbag. I guess they don't bother to provide paperbags for small items.

A partially self service cafe- you have to queue to place order and collect drinks. But some of the food maybe served to your table.

It sells light food and drinks. The drinks are mainly teas, coffee, milo , barley, soft drinks & mineral water. The prices for the teas & coffee with or without sugar, milk are all different. The cheapest beverage is tea with only sugar (aka. teh) at $1.20. Most of the drink come in hot or cold with cold selling at $0.20- $0.30 more.

The food are mainly traditional local fare like toast bread with choice of kaya, butter, sugar & etc; half-boiled egg; laksa; curry chicken; nasi lemak.
I only tried the laksa which sells at $4.50, the serving portion is moderate but plenty of coconut milk was used in the curry and it was not very spicy so it should suit even those who are not inclined toward spicy food. On the whole it was fairly palatable.

This outlet at JP, isn't very large so the tables can be rather close. The tables & chairs are black & wooden, reminding one of the coffeeshops in bygone days.
