This stall is located at some coffee shop near the singapore immigration. I remember going there in the once in the morning and queued up to about 30-40mins. Another time is around the night time and there's not much queue then, maybe its better to go later instead? I think it closes at 9pm so don't go too late. :P

They have this signage pasted loudly on their stall reading 'One and Only Original- No Branch'.
独一无二(毫无分行). So what's up with the other stalls? i'm really not sure.

    Quote from Wine & Dine:
"For a few dollars, you get a good portion of springy mee kia or mee pok
(thin or broad noodles) noodles tossed with a punchy soy and black
vinegar sauce (tip: ask for extra vinegar) and topped with a
selection of the best parts of the pig. These include lean minced pork,
tender, snowy white pork slices, wonton, bouncy pork balls,
and slices of pork liver. A garnish of crisp-fried dried fish and a bowl of soup made rich and potent with pork bones complete the dish."

That's what is written on their website so I won't say more. This stall uses vinegar if you don't want chilli sauce for it. I like the pork bone soup but my mum find it a tat too salty for her. Guess its up to individual preferences. ;) I ordered kway tiao dry and it tasted just as good. Loved the vinegar taste especially.

Its worth the trip to go there and try but the standard price of each bowl ranges from $4 up to $6. The serving is just right for me at $4 but for guys maybe $6 for a bigger serving and more ingredients?? yum.. ..

And its just behind the Singapore immigration so perhaps after a long day queuing up at the immigration, we can go for another queue over at that famous pork noodle stall? ha.. just kidding.

This is one of my fave libraries I can say, but nowadays its kinda hard to find a place to really sit down as they are mostly occupied. Tend to see a lot of people sitting on the carpeted floors, with their laptops are just reading or studying. I think its quite a common sight nowadays in most libraries.

One thing good about this library is that it has 4 storeys as Nicnic says and it offers a good range of books from fiction to research books for example. Its quite spacious as well and it is quite well-equipped with the usual multimedia section and the essential facilities. Not forgetting the cafe- why do I keep having the feeling that everywhere looks the same nowadays..

I'm so excited when I found that pepper lunch is offered at a cheaper price at food junction. I love their hamburger steak set especially. Its like about 5dollars cheaper than the individual stores they have. The set only have soup included and rice whereas at their stores they included one soft drink and salad I think.

The food junction looks neater in a way as they removed much of the square tables and individual chairs with benches and long tables. Its good if you have a big group of friends sitting together in one long table. Not so if you are sitting beside a stranger. :P

There's quite abit of other interesting food stalls which I haven't tried in the food court. But for sure I will be stepping into another Food Junction outlet should I get hungry someday. :)

For me personally, I do like the ambience at this outlet. Its not that open and yet you get to see the people outside walking around.

One thing I like about Novena Square is that it isn't as crowded as other places so you get to enjoy a bit of quietness over there and its a great place to catch up with friends as you don't have to scream your head off while you try to finish your dinner. :P

Food wise, I ordered the bbq stingray and the vegetables that comes with it tastes real crispy and nice. Wonder what is being done to it. Maybe i'm hungry then i'm not sure. The stingray tasted fresh too and not that oily as the ones u get to eat outside at newton or east coast. My friend ordered the swordfish set and the serving is amazing big. But I still like my stingray.. ha. :P

We also ordered the freeze, some monkey name.. I can't remember but I love it especially. I'm still a child at heart perhaps, it just brings back memories when I had that drink. Reminds me of the 7eleven slurpee but this is not all sugar syrup but with fruit juice in it. is it?

Service wise, its good too. Staffs are friendly and approachable.

Went to tis particular kbox at cineleisure for quite a number of times. The most recent to the level 4 Kbox for Klunch and level 8 kbox during the KGolden timings.

One thing, I think needed improvement is the Klunch. Even though its quite cheap for a lunch but I feel if they could have more variety like what partyworld offers would be great. I've never tried the buffet at kbox but I heard from many people that its not that nice. How not nice i'm not sure but I am not so willing to spend 20 bucks to try it.

As for the mics, the rooms I went to, the mics are not wireless, if so will be great as me and my friend were tangled up by the cords most of the time as we move around alot during our singing. ha.. talk about enthusiatic singers.. :P

Service is not bad. During our singing 'stint' at level 8, my friends commented that the room was very warm, at first I thought its because that we were very excited or something, but its not. So we requested for a change of room. Thankfully, there's quite a bit of empty rooms even though its on a Friday night, we were promptly switched to another room by the staff. Thanks for that. Its worth it even though we had to re-pick our songs all over again.

Overall I do enjoy my experience in Kbox. by the way, the lights on the walls are quite distracting if u know what i mean. just my 2cents tot. ;) keep singing people.
