There were couple of shops selling Tau Sar Piah along Balestier Road. When we drove past these shops, the was no queue at these stalls. So I didn't expect to see a queue when I'm at my destination. But to my surprise, the queue was pretty long at 603 Tau Sar Piah. It seems to be very popular among the young and old.
While queuing I was always peeping to see if there's still Tau Sar Piah left for me when it's my turn. And true enough, by the time I reach the counter, there were only 2 salted ones left. (So sad. I love salted ones.)
The Tau Sar Piah is soft and fluffy. It was still warm when I bought them. (Fresh from the oven!) I couldn't resist so I had them in the car. Took couple of photos too. Uploaded here for everyone to see. As you can see, the fillings is packed full and the skin is thin and yummy!
603 Tau Sar Piah is worth a try! I was told weekday queue is shorter and more variety will be available at any one time. They're open till 6.30pm. Go try lah!
If you've not visited GV Vivo, then you better go give it a try. But let me warn you first, after visiting GV Vivo, you might not want to watch movie anywhere else!
Ever since I stepped foot at GV Vivo and caught a movie in the largest theater, GV Max, I'm so in love with the place that I insists on going to GV Vivo for all my movies! (But of course, I still will give the new cinemas a try.)
The seats are comfortable and leg room is so much more spacious than the other GVs. I think GV should start renovating the other cinemas too and make it as good as the Vivo one.
But then again, once GV Vivo is old, and if GV doesn't maintain the cinemas regularly, it'll one day become smelly and worn out too. So go try the cinema out if you've not already done so. Before it starts wearing out... tsk tsk.

As a lover of everything stylish, trendy, hip and pretty, I simply adore the collection at Wood Would. Girls will love the collection and as for the guys... well... the lady boss is pretty too!
This is one place to go for your christmas shopping or when you need to find something unique for a friend's birthday.
Another one of the new concept store along Haji Lane. At first look, Pluck looks like a fashion style shop with the latest trends and coolest fashion. But when you enter the shop, you'll see more than just that! They also have colorful and cute handmade accessories for the young and hip! They carry quite a number of various products designed by local talents too.
This style emporium also has yummy ice creams. Perfect place to take 5 while shopping along Haji Lane.
3 is one unqiue store along the run-down but hip Haji Lane. What attracted me to enter the shop is the black decor outside the shop. It gives a sense of mystery and prompts one to want to explore further.
They carry the-not-so-common fashion brands that's hip, stylish and cool for the young generations. One of my favorite brand is the MilkBerlin bags that are just so unique and durable.
If you are like me, someone who demand 100% attention from the service people, well, this tiny shop is one where you'll get all the attention you need. (Right from the moment you stepped through the black door.)
Love fishballs? Love liver? Love lean pork? This fishball noodle stall is one that you cannot miss when you're around Toa Payoh area! Located opposite the JTC factor, this stall operates from morning 7am to noon 2pm only. (Sometimes they close as early as 1pm when they're sold out!)
Its hard to find $2.50 fishball noodles these days. But they stay true to their loyal customers who have been with them for many years. You can also upsize your order to $3 or more if you want more noodles and fishball.
Their fishballs are bouncy and tender. The noodles is cooked to the right tenderness that'll make you want more. Their self-created chilli is one that I cannot resists! You can ask for more if you think you can take it extra spicy.
Their other famous dish is the Fried Kway Teow. Appeared once on the chinese newspaper. This created quite a havoc for this stall as people travelled all the way from the West just to give this Fried Kway Teow a try.
As the name suggest, Relax Room is the place to let out all the tension from a day of hard work. Their experience masseurs are skillful and tactful. They seem to know exactly where you need more TLC and attention.
A visit to the Relax Room is where everyone should end their day at. (at least once a week)
Was at Vivo a while back when I spotted Vinco donuts. As the queue was "queue-able", we joined in. We noticed couple of reasons why the queue is forever so long. Its not cos there wasn't enough donuts! Well, the queue could have gone faster if the specialists move at a quicker pace, the specialist breaks out of their comfort zone and help out with the serving (instead of folding more boxes when its already so high up and falling) and if the people could have made their decision while waiting in the queue instead of starting to think what to order when they’ve reached the counter!
Being a good girl, I keep chanting my order while waiting in line, hoping that this will help those poor people who are waiting behind to speed it up a few seconds… but sad to say, the packing specialist took too gentle care of the donuts and slowed things up again…
Well, with the queueing and waiting aside, the donuts were quite yummy. Quite tasty and spongie. So if you happen to pass by and the queue seems bearable, give it a try. Don’t just buy 1, buy all the flavours if you can afford to! Cos you’ll never know when will be the next time when the queue is “queue-able”.

This is one cool shop that you cannot NOT enter while you're at The Cathay. Wood Would is a little shop filled with many pretty gifts and stationary. Unique designs and colorful prints. Every girls would love to own any piece of gift from Wood Would. (Well, at least I know I will love it to bits!)
Cosy little environment makes you feel at home while you shop for the perfect gifts for friends and love ones.

Was having dinner at Fish & Co, Suntec on Sunday. The crowd was lesser than on Satudays and lucky for us, there wasn't a queue. We were shown to an empty table almost immediately and given the menu. (The changed their menu and now comes in lunch and dinner versions.)
We ordered our usual, Swordfish Collar and Platter for One. The waiting time for our food to be served was alright, the usual waiting time. As always, the food was nice and warm.
Couple of things that I would like to mention here... First we saw a black substance in our Passion Fruit drink, which my bf said looked like a fish scale... hmm... we asked for a new glass, and they did immediately replaced it for us. Then the other one was the missing sides (vegetables) from bf's swordfish collar. Instead, the plate was filled with more rice. Puzzled, we asked for help. The manager (we suppose) came over and then he went into the kitchen to check. He came back with a wok of vegetables and said that the kitchen thought we requested for all rice. (This I think the waiter who took our order heard us wrongly. We asked for rice instead of chips. But not rice instead of veges.)
No matter who was at fault for the above incidents, the most important thing is the friendly and no-fuss service that they've given us. We enjoyed the dinner. Will sure go back for dinner another day. But we will miss the mint they used to give after payment. (Or did they happen to run out of it on Sunday? Hmm...)
By the way, Fish & Co is also a good place to celebrate birthdays at. The entire staff (even from the kitchen) will come together to sing the birthday gal/guy their version of birthday song! So cool! (Good place to bring a friend so that you can "sabo" the birthday friend! Cos it's kinda embarrassing with everyone's attention on you.)
