This may sound like a grumblilng post, but I hope someone will do something about it.

Being a commuter everyday on SBS buses, I've to say I'm not quite please with what I'm getting. Especially when they're going to increase their fares another time.

I'm sure many commuters like myself experience the same thing daily while going to work or returning home. And I'm sure SBS know about the situation. At the peak period when everyone's getting to work, the bus is usually super packed. And at times, there'll be a higher frequency or an empty bus starting its jorney at a later part of the route. But this doesn't happen everyday and usually we need to be lucky to catch such a period. If not, everyone will have to squeeze into the already packed bus or wait for another similarly filled bus or suffer in hunger at the bus stop to wait for one bus that's not packed to the entrance so that you can board without feeling like a sardine.

Besides the peak period problem, some buses with air-con was stuffy and warm. Obviously there's something wrong with the aircon at the upper deck but would the driver know about it? I doubt so, cos the lower deck aircon was working fine. People at upper deck had to suffer the long and jammed up journey from the heat from the sun and the stuffiness from the broken aircon. Shouldn't SBS be servicing their buses reguarly to maintain and avoid such situation?

I would have given a one star rating but then how can we avoid these situation in such a service?

I'm not a customer of bodywellness. But have went for trial session before complimentary from some creditcards. I've to agree with ragbede. The ladies there are very pushy when come to selling. Kinda "chase" people away due to their agressive sales talk. That's what they did to me. I quite enjoyed the complimentary treatment and during the process, I was considering signing up in the future. But the sales talk after my treatment was too pushy, it changed my mind of signing up.

Agree with tinkle too, if the packages were good and services and all were well done, customers would eventually want to return for more treatments. Guess they just aren't doing that well.

IMO, Body Wellness is not the best place to go for beauty services.

Too sweet for our sweet tooth.

Had a break at Coffee Club Clark Quay last weekend with bf. We were tired and needed a place to rest, so we thought CC is quite a nice place. I like the lightings and simple setting. Thou the seats looked comfy but it wasn't.

We ordered chocolate fondue, strawberry smooties and a kind of chocolate cake. (can't remember the name) Guess we should have stuck to their coffee instead. The chocolate fondue was simple, comes with just fruits (kiwi, strawberry, banana and mango). The chocolate tasted normal. The chocolate cake was too sweet for us. And the taste was kinda weird with the not-so-soft texture. We didn't even finished it even when its just a small piece of cake.

Maybe they have other better tasting food. But I know which to avoid now.

Was around the area last weekend and my bf and I thought of playing games. We went to Mind Cafe hoping they've a table for us.

We entered and we asked about the packages and prices. Then we asked if there's a table for us. The guy at the counter took a look at the CCTV below the counter to check the upper floor. Then he used a lower tone (thinking that we can't hear him) to ask the guy serving us if it was just the two of us. Then he immediately so no table. The impression he gives is that there's available tables upstairs, but cos its just the two of us he didn't want us to take the table. So they can offer that table to a bigger group that walks in.

I wonder if there was any bigger group that went within the 2 when we were gone.

How can anyone not review on the freshest and best value for money sashimi buffet! Ikoi is my friends, cousins and my personal favorite japanese resturant! Erm... although its our favorite, so far I've been there only twice. Cos its about $35/pax which to my wallet is quite pricely. Still its a value for money buffet.

If you're not a sashimi fan, I suggest you try other buffet. But this is a MUST try for the big fans out there! They have all kind of sashimi freshly sliced and served. Even their sushi is made of sashimi! Their menu is just list and has no photos. So check with the friendly waitress first when you order.

The buffet also comes with some standard dish, which is not in the menu. These items will be served no matter you order or not. There's this crunchy vege stick with special salad dressing, a soup served in those paper steamboat and one more I can't remember what. But everything is nice!

If you're planning to give this place a try, please remember to call to make reservation. It's a MUST! Else you'll be never get to eat their yummy and fresh sashimi! Just typing this now makes me want to go back there now! *Drools*
