I don't have much to say about the quality of CHIC because for the price of $2.8, it has no substance. Only pictures, prices, where to shop, a few product reviews, that's about it. More for teens probably. Very easy to produce as compared to other more established mags. I would rather spend a bit more to buy others which have good articles in addition to the shopping guide, makeup styles, fashion, hip happenings, etc, as I can read them for weeks instead of finishing the whole mag at a glance.

Most importantly, it is run by the same SMITTEN gang. Smitten closed down last year, affecting subscribers who paid for the whole year without compensation. Then the same crew started this new mag, and the whole process starts all over again! We have lost faith after a few bad experiences, including my friends who have not gotten their promised freebies worth $100 upon subscription since over a month ago.
