My inaugural trip to Cold Rock was months ago. As it happened, I chanced upon this new ice cream outlet on a random trip to laid back Holland V, and fortunately for them, ice cream of any kind is my weakness. I love ice cream in the purest sense of the word - single flavor with no condiments. But ice cream with add-ons has got to be the defining thing in ice cream history. A simple topping such as caramel sauce or mixed nuts can change the taste profile of an ice cream entirely. And so I embrace Cold Rock's signature culture of mixing and smashing which is an art form in itself. With Cold Rock, the choices are endless. With an already vast line-up of flavors coupled with top-notch "mix-ins" (ranging from candies to brownies), no one ice cream is the same.
