I visited last week for their lunch week special. It was Friday thus it was choice of Chicken melted cheese or a pasta. I chose the Chicken melted cheese and it came with portion of fries that was quite filling. It was a set menu price that after charges was only 9 dollars and with soup, main course, free flow of soft drinks and desserts it was really not bad at all.
In additional, the dessert of the day that came with the set lunch menu was Vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge cake (very small piece) and chocolate sauce. Anyway it was an adequate portion after the filling clam chowder soup, main course and drinks.
For the price, cushy sofas, nice reading materials and reasonable service I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice budget experience.

Went back to changing appetite after a year because I miss their hokkaido cream cheese baked rice (it's darn good). But it's not on the menu anymore. In fact, I think they have cut down their menu in half. Food standards has dropped a little bit but still alright. Their servings are still pretty huge.
The 3 of us ordered: - Chicken and mushroom fajitas - Fish and chips with calamari - Parmesan Fish and chips
It was quite messy while eating the fajitas but fun at the same time. Though it is a western restaurant I could taste chinese sauces being used. It didn't really go well with the melted cheddar cheese.
Service was not bad. We were camwhoring while waiting for our food and this waiter came and asked if he could help us take the picture. However, it took them quite some time to fill our empty cups of iced water.

I remember going with my group of friends 2 years ago as a pre christmas celebration.
There were about 10 of us and each of us tried to order a different dish from the rest as much as possible. The menu was comprehensive but we only manage to 6 to 7 different types of dishes.
I remember NONE of the dish tastes right. Even the most basic, the easiest to cook, FISH AND CHIP was HORRENDOUS. After the main dish, I don't even bother to order the EXPENSIVE desserts.
In fact, the cafe says for itself... changing appetite... changes your appetite... Ever since, I have never step into this cafe anymore.
