I am surprised when I taste the fried chicken here:D
I have tried the spicy rice cakes and some others from dong dae mun before but not for their crispy chicken. The price was about the same as others.
What I am surprised by is that the chicken was very soft and tender, such that when I took a bite, it was so easy to eat, not hard at all! :D
And yet, the outer was still very crispy, and the flavour of the chicken is also nice and delicious;D
I really love it and will definitely be back for it, simply awesome(:

I love Korean food and the very first time I ate the chicken stick at Dong Dae Mun at Vivocity, I was hooked. Now, whenever I am at Vivocity I will try to eat the chicken stick here if I have the chance to or when I still have some space left in my stomach. I have tried the chicken stick at other Dong Dae Mun outlets, but there are still differences in the taste and the tenderness of the meat. The one at this outlet is the best out of all the outlets I have tried. I think the meat they use varies from outlets to outlets, so that'll probably account for the difference in the tenderness of the meat. The chicken stick at the Vivocity outlet is so tender and together with the bbq/ chilli sauce they spread onto the meat, the chicken stick taste totally awesome.
I'll definitely continue to eat the chicken stick here if I drop by Vivocity and maybe next time I will try the other stuffs they sell here too.

I walked pass this Korean eatery alot of times. Dun dare to try at all. Coz dunno nice or not.
One day, I went to VIVO City, I was tempted by the variety of items they sell, so I tried.
MASHITA!!!! I bought the Fried Chicken, Stir Fried Rice Cake, Chicken Ball and Pork Ball. I dun really like the ‘Balls’, dun like their texture. I love the Rice Cake and Fried Chicken!
Unlike Shilin Market’s, the Fried Chicken uses the Chicken Leg, not Breast. It’s tender and Juicy! The marinate is the Korean Bulgogi style. Mashita!!!
The Rice Cake looks spicy, but it’s not that spicy at all! It has additional ingredients like cabbage and fish cake. It has a unique sweet and spicy taste. Very interesting! I even have two helpings per day!
Dong Dae Mun’s meat bbq on stick are delicious too! Especially the Chicken Stick. You can choose to add mayo or chili sauce or both. But i prefer to eat it on its own. The bulgogi marinate is enough to make you craving for more! 3 for $2.50. Worth it!
But different branches has different standards. :p
