I caught Warlords at this cinema last Saturday. Much as I would like to rave on and on about how good the movie was with its tragic storyline and its oh-so-wonderful eye candies, that is not what I am going to review on.

Oh well, before I get sidetracked again, let us start the review. I went to this cinema on a Saturday night. It was extremely packed and we had to join a long queue just to get our tickets. Fortunately, the staff was efficient and we managed to get our tickets rather soon. And we got it cheap too, at $8, thanks to the Safra card. (The benefits of knowing a NS boy! =P)

The whole experience of watching the movie though, was rather average. I have been going to this particular cinema ever since I was a secondary school girl, and while the standards did not drop, neither did it get better. Still, I will count my blessings that my butt did not hurt, it wasn't too cold, there was just enough leg room and I could get a toilet cubicle easily when I desperately needed one after the movie. Another good thing about this cinema is that you don't have to take a long walk back to the shopping mall after the movie.

And, if I had to compare, I would prefer the cinema over at Century Square more with its cheaper food and more comfy surroundings.

P.S. This review is short and sweet right? I think. Or at least compared to my other reviews. =P

I prefer Century Sq seats too, but cos GV got promo, I'll usually book tixs for GV Tampines if I go Tampines for movies. Waiting for the one at Downtown east to open!
