I was here once for a farewell dinner. Recommended dishes are Oatmeal prawns and the sweet and sour fish. It's also famous for its buffet.
Went there for a second time as a friend was holding a wedding dinner there. The food arrived in a timely order. The food for the wedding seem to taste better.
The overall ambience for this place can be rather old since it has been there for quite some time. It isn't that big for more than 30 tables. I had to squeeze myself each time I tried to leave my table. It is suitable for a small wedding though.
On normal days, the tables are not so close together.

Just went for lunch as it's the 15th of CNY, had sauteed asparagus ($12) but the portion is really very small for the price that is paid, but fresh, had Sweet & sour fish ($10) --big portion , Sharkfin soup with bamboo pith($18) and Tofu with Spicy Sauce ($10).The fish is good but the shark fin soup is nothing to rave about. Food arrive fast but they are really lack of staff. After UOB discpunt we paid about $20 each for 3 pax
I will come back for buffet instead, this will cost $14 on weekdays and $15 on weekends. I love their greenbean paste, sesame coated dessert (I can't remember the name) and the lotus root soup was absolutely delicious, even without pork to boil the soup.
