Happy Chef has open another Eatery at Blk 554, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 #01-2040.
It is an eatery by itself with better ambience, no longer squeeze inside a coffeeshop... its quiet place where you can have a good chill out place where I can enjoy a good meal and chat with friends. I will bring my family there to have a value for money western meals....
This is a place where they sell unique western food unlike the usual coffeeshop western food. Got to try the Pork Ribs... it is very juicy and soft....

Authentic Quality Western Food Made Accessible and Affordable
Happy Chef is the one place the masses would flock to for cheap but authentic and quality western food. The chef apparently learned the intricacies of the culinary trade in Australia while he was living in the Land Down Under with his family, and luckily for us, he came back to our sunny island and opened up a stall selling fairly upmarket quality western chow at heartland prices.
1) Farmer's Chicken ($5), grilled chicken thigh slathered in a rich mushroom gravy and served with vegetables. We opted to do away with the fries (in keeping with a healthier regime). I like that Happy Chef doesn't serve the usual crappy baked beans and coleslaw, but serves fresh vegetables instead, carrots, french beans and cabbage blanched and lightly salted 2) Country Baked Fish ($6), which is basically the fish version of the farmer's chicken. I liked that the dory fish is delicate, fresh and light. Chili flakes are added for some spice on the garlic bread, which is an unusual but welcome touch 3) Teriyaki Fish ($6). I liked that the dory fish was fresh, sweet and flaky
4) Teriyaki Chicken ($6), grilled boneless chicken thigh marinated in a teriyaki sauce, generously topped with mushrooms and served with blanched carrots, cabbage and french beans.

Typical Western food items, but prepared in an unique way, as you see Chinese vege served instead of salad.
I have tried BBQ Honey Chicken ($5.50), and it is quite tasty. Not oily too.
For 50cents, you can get mushrooms as extra item on your plate.
I find their steak not very appealing, very tough to chew on.
If you are at a lost of what to do, choose Mixed Grilled set where you get to eat lamb and pork.
The place is generally not that crowded, and you don't have to worry about having not enough seats or waiting for a long time before getting to eat.
Recommended for western food lovers.
