I'll go there for meal whenever I got a huge appetite & cravings because the servings are big & there's a good variety of side dishes to choose from.
Although I'm not much into pork, I quite like their ribs, especially the BBQ sauce which really compliments the ribs. The roast chicken is good too! With a coating of glaze and herbs on the chicken skin and the chicken skin is roasted to almost fatless, it makes me feel less sinful to eat it. Haha...
As for the sides, my favourite is corn muffins followed by the corn nibbles. Other than the corn, they also have different potato side dishes like galic potato, mashed potato and potato salad. Of course there's the greens as well.
I've also noticed that most of the waiters and waitresses there are the elderly. Seems like it's quite a pro-elderly place, that's good!
On the overall, felt happily satisfied. Both with the food and the friendly waiters.
Had eaten a couple of times at this outlet in the past before its recent renovation. So far, I would say that my experiences there had been quite pleasant.
When I am there, I always like to go for the Quarter Chicken, coupled with mashed potato (I like the gravy!!), the Macroni and Cheese and either corn nibblets or the muffins. But sometimes the muffins may be slightly off standard, too sweet for my liking. So I guess it depends on luck. haha.
Neverthless, I think the size of the serving is value for money. However, one thing bad is that perhaps a queue can be formed up quite easily since everything is self-service. So when I see that a queue is forming up, I would turn back cos' I noe that to get a table may not be that easy during those peak hours.
And I must say that after the renovation is done, it does seem to be more spacious and more trendy in a way. Will find one day to try out this revamped Kenny Rogers
Recently they had some renovation and change their image to a more modern look. What did not change is the food, of course good food no need to change.
Even though there is one incident where a customer found a cockroach inside the colesaw (I think), but I think they will be more caution from then now, so it did not stop me from going. Also with the new look, they looked more brighter and cleaner now as well.
Should go and try the few things that I mentioned about especially the corn muffins! Simple great! Soft and fluffy inside yet crispy outside.
The price is average and the sets are worth its price as well. The portions that they give are also huge.
The service there is prompt as well, eve though it is self service. The queue tends to built up when someone is there standing and thinking what side dish he/she wants. I hate it when it happens!
Kenny Rogers is the place we usually dine when we're at Suntec or Marina area. Cause we just love their sides!
Usual orders would be the quarter chicken with 2 sides and the BBQ Chicken pita with 2 sides.
Used to love their corn muffins but think I've grown out of it. *lol*
And our usual 4 sides cause they are just too good to resists... Macaroni cheese, long beans, pasta salad and either the boiled corn or the steamed cauliflower.
Overall a nice place for dinner.

The place looks so bright and cheerful and welcoming now! Kenny Rogers has changed their image and I'm loving it! Go check it out!
Honestly, I'm a mini fan of Kenny Rogers and I have no idea why.
Suntec is a really central area to go. Very accessible by MRT and bus and with plenty of shopping space I would say this is a good restaurant to seek.
The ambience is cosy. The seats are a little run-down upon inspection but the overall look's alright.
It's a self service thing but the servers are always on hand to help you with your trays. It can be really heavy at times.
It's mostly chicken but they also have some fish fillet. They have chicken fillet for those who can't be bothered to operate on those bones. There's also the Chicken Soup in a bread bowl thingy which is very filling and delicious!
I rarely order the chicken as I eat very little. But I love the sides. I prefer the rice, the vegetables and the mashed potatoes. Sometimes I can caught up with the cheese macaroni.
2 plates are generally enough for 3 people. So it's possible for 3 to eat below $20 which is very reasonable. Drinks come in a big cup but are non-refillable. I don't think you would want to get them refilled anyway.
I don't go to this place a lot, because of the large serving and slightly-higher-than-my-budget pricing. But nonetheless, I leave the place satisfied each time because the food is worth the price you pay.
I'm not that into the chicken when I go there, as compared to the side dishes, but I still think their meat is very nice and tender. It's not very hard to eat also, even if it's one half of the chicken or a plate of ribs. And that's because the meat is.. well tender! It makes it really easy to cut out the meat (or you can just use your hands). I like the side dish they have - corn, potato salad and that.. cheesy macaroni thing. I think the macaroni is a must try. Really good! (Unless you totally don't like cheese.)
But one thing bad about the shop is that it's really small. There isn't enough seats to cater to the overwhelming crowd they meet everyday. Because the shop is too small and there are more tables and chairs than they can take, it makes it hard to move around comfortably also. I think at the moment, they are undergoing renovations to improve on the place. So hopefully after renovating, the place would be able to accommodate more people!
Roastiing a chicken is a healthier method than frying it in hot oil. Have tried this outlet several times a year and each time, you will walk away a very satisfied customer.
Understand from the manager that they use the freshest chicken and marinate them with natural herbs and spices. It is then slowly turn over a hardwood fire, allowing fat to escape while sealing in the wood-roasted flavour. The wood roasting makes the chicken taste as good as it looks.
Eat the chicken skin. You will realise that it is not fatty but evenly covered with the spices that give you an awsome feeling like as if you are eating sashimi.
Besides chicken, the outlets also serve ribs, wide range of side dishes like coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, soup and small cute muffins ( should try theirs!! )
Give this place a try if you are near Suntec. It is worth visiting.

Recently they had some renovation and change their image to a more modern look. What did not change is the food, of course good food no need to change.
I always like a few things from them mainly:
1. Chicken
2. Colesaw
3. Macaroni and Cheese
4. Corn nibblets
5. Corn muffins (My FAV!)
Even though there is one incident where a customer found a cockroach inside the colesaw (I think), but I think they will be more caution from then now, so it did not stop me from going. Also with the new look, they looked more brighter and cleaner now as well.
