Knotty Bicsie is a cosy knitting & crochet home-studio run by Betsy. Everything at Knotty Bicsie is uniquely hand-made with love by Betsy & sometimes her Mum, Ai Choo.

Holding a 1st Class Honours Degree in Art, and winner of both Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal & Art Gold Medal Awards, Betsy used to be a full-time Secondary (Junior High) School Art teacher. She picked up knitting & crochet from her mother as a therapeutic hobby. Being a very hands-on, dynamic individual, Betsy gave up her stable job in pursue of her passion – Art. She now teaches Art to ‘O’ Level students as a freelancer and runs Knotty Bicsie, promoting her very own hand-knitted and hand-crochet pieces.

Knotty Bicsie's star product is Knotty Baby Booties, which are all uniquely hand-crochet with non-wool baby yarns that are especially suitable for Singapore’s hot and humid weather. These lovely baby booties are indeed designer pieces since Betsy & Ai Choo makes only 5-8pairs per design.

Another signature creation by Betsy is her very own orginal invention - Knotty Bangle Bags! Inspired by now-so-popular wristlets, Betsy brilliantly crochet bags & added beautiful & funky bangles as handles. Now you have one less accessory to worry about! A must-have for all ladies!
