Andy is the most professional, passionate and creative hairdresser I have ever met! Being the owner of this salon, he strives for perfection, starting with ambiance of the salon, the choice of the magazines, and, of course, the skills.
His work is simply amazing, whether you are looking for subtle or a drastic effect, he can cover the spectrum and will exceed your expectations! Andy spends the time necessary to understand your wants, and makes recommendations when appropriate. His cuts are versatile and easy to manage. He is natural, very personalizes and is a true artist in his field!
I've been going to Andy, and ONLY him, since 1999. I cannot recommend him highly enough - he is exceptional!

Let's get personal here - if you have a bad meal at a restaurant, it's a few hours out of your life. But if you have a bad haircut, it can leave you looking bad and/or in pain for months. This is why salon choice is so important. Andy Chong is highly talented and has lots of enthusiasm and passion at what he does. He is responsible for all of the wonderful compliments I get on my haircut and color. I have got really thick hair and Andy is the master at creating cuts with unique style for different individuals, and not cuts that need to be styled! He is also very friendly - just the ideal person you would want to chat with while you are getting your haircut. Definitely worth the extra money!

I like Platform Salon. Andy Chong is a good hair stylist and the best one I have seen.
Andy's striking ability is that he analyses hair differently from the conventional stylist who may just recommend a style or treatment even though it may not be the best option for your hair.
Andy can handle curly hair well, and I am happy with the style he has recommended. My past stylists have told me I cannot have short hair and have often recommended straightening my hair.
I would recommend everyone to try Andy's styling. You will probably like talking to him and possibly his hair styling too.

I first went to Andy, he was recommended by a colleague who had most amazing short hairdo. She has very curly hair, it must have been difficult to cut and her cut was great.
I've been going to Andy for over 11 years since and whenever I am back in Singapore. I have wavy hair and he takes time to cut to match the wave and i get a great hair cut that last for eight weeks! Definitely go to him if you want a fuss free short hair cut and not waste time blowdrying. I only spend 5 mins drying my hair and i've a bob hair do and my hair stays in place.... to get this, you need a good cut and Andy's the stylist to go to.

I met Andy through a mutual friend in Chiang Mai, Thailand. During his vacation, Andy was kind enough to cut my hair. He gave me an amazing haircut, paying attention to details large and small. He probably spent close to 2 hours cutting my hair. Andy was a breath of fresh air for my hair, considering how difficult it is to find a hairdresser in Thailand who knows how to cut farang (foreign), wavy/curly hair. His cut was worth every penny (or baht) and I would totally make him my regular stylist if I still lived in Southeast Asia. Go to him! You won't be sorry!

I was pondering whether should i opt for short hair since i have had long hair for years, plus advices from other hair stylists i had came across were not convincing enough for me to do so. I decided to do some 'research' and came across this website with all the positive reviews by you guys, and it was enough for me to make up my mind. Did not even realise i was sitting in his saloon, chatting nonsense with him while he works his magic. Here i am loving my new look, of cos the biggest credit goes to Andy. You have yet another regular customer in the future!

I got to know Andy from his days at Toni & Guy and I've been going to him for the past 15 years!
He's 100% service from the time I step into his salon and does a wonderful job with my naturally wavy hair. He doesn't rush through the job even if it means finishing past 10pm and I totally trust him as he talks me through what he is going to do each and every time. Every cut and colour is detailed, meticulous and so creative!
My trips there are also very entertaining and not just a haircut session with his spontaneous laughter and little life snippets. Thank you Andy!! You do such an amazing job!!
