I have been a loyal fan of Andy Chong from Platform since 1997 / 98. He never fails to cut my hair which makes everyone turns head.. Sitting in his salon, most of the time is me telling him if I want to keep my hair long or snip off and keep it short.. But really, most of the time, I leave it to him to make decisions, me just sitting there and waiting for surprises. With Andy, there is no risk of him failing below your expectations and he takes his time and makes an effort to cut my hair. I have just made him come back on 4th Nov 2012 (Sunday) to open his door for me specially to snip off my long locks and transform my look as I have to fly off the next morning. He spent almost 5 hours and took heart to make me 'stylo'. My customers, friends and colleagues failed to recognize me. Hahahhaha.. Without Andy, I will definitely be lost.. For the effort he makes.. all $$ are definitely worth every cents. ANDY!! You are the BEST!!! Haiz.. What I am to do if you decide to call it quit!!!!??
Andy's Commitment Level : Beyond description, one has to try to know it.. Compliments will fly like bees to flower!!

I just had my haircut today at Andy's. Like many others, he is my only hairdresser for about 7 years now. While I risk sounding too exaggerated, i have not combed my hair for these 7 years. He does made it that low maintenance for me. The only hair routine I have is to blow dry my hair (fr back to front) before I sleep. I have some natural waves, but he manages to handle it without the need for me to do the dreaded rebonding.
In addition, as I like having short hair, he literally has to cut a new hairstyle for me every 2-3 months. A typical visit to Andy s just involve me complaining how long my hair is. He does the thinking of the new style for me.
I fear the day that he has to retire.
