I have 2 bunnies and 1 chinchilla and my regular pet shop recommended Dr Hsu from here. I had visited a few vets before this and was not very satisfied with the results. Dr Hsu seemed experienced in handling my pets and most importantly, my little Bobby's sore eyes cleared up within a matter of days! Very pleased to be able to find a good small animal vet so close to me.

My Hamster, Ah Fat, died many years ago in 2002. When he was alive, he had a lot of problems with his health. First was when he developed a rash throughout his body and you could see lumps on his underbelly side. I couldn't bear seeing him suffer but didn't know what to do....
I went through yellow pages and looked for vets and called some. And I decided on this clinic....why I don't remember, but I do know I stay very far away from this clinic and someone drove me there.
When I arrived, I saw a few people waiting. None had hamsters, all had dogs.
As a side note, this clinic is situated near ang moh chus and most likely frequented by the residents nearby. I am an average HDB dweller, so felt abit out of place.
When it was my turn, the vet (a young female vet) looked rather clueless and didn't know what to do with a hamster. I guess she doesn't have much experience with hamsters as few people ever take them to see vets?
She advised me why not remove all their wood shreds as bedding and instead fill with shredded tissue, cos' they maybe causing allergic reactions due to chemical contents in the wood shreds.
Basically that was all. I paid, not cheap, and went home and followed the instructions. Ah Fat did get better eventually.
Overall, the female vet was nice and she tried her best. The decor of the clinic was abit dated (dunno how is it now).
